I have been a patient of Dr. Tekolas since 2011. I am 31 years old and I have Major illnesses as well as psychiatric diagnosis and dr. Tekola has been excellent with my healthcare hes very strict when it comes to narcotics and psychiatric medication however he will give you these medications if necessary until a specialist can address the issue I know this from personal experience I have also been in several car accidents and other major accidents that require me to wait for a specialist and dr. Tekola is very compassionate and make sure that I get everything I need I dont understand why people are saying its hard to get an appointment because I can get an appointment sometime this week if I needed to the problem is everyone is going looking for pain medication and things of that sort and Dr tekola is the type of doctor who wants to address the underlying issue hes not going to just hand out narcotics like candy because hes concerned about your actual Health Care make no mistake about it dr. Tekola is awesome his staff is on point his office is clean I have seen his nurse practitioner one time I preferred to stay with dr. Tekola because he knew my health and details better than the practitioner if youre going for the narcotics forget it hes going to make sure whatever he prescribes you is absolutely necessary I would refer Dr tekola to anyone because he is that great I am leaving out of state next month in August and he is willing to make sure that I have all of my necessary medications narcotics and psychiatric included until I can transfer to another doctor out of state any other doctor would tell me to find a doctor in the state that I am going to so as far as Dr tekola being very and uncompassionate thats a lie and people need to stop at the end of the day as long as Dr tekola is in practice he will be my doctor because hes excellent. My husband, and my 2 grown boys have seen this doctor each a couple of times. Dr. Tekola is lazy and very unprofessional and unsanitary. Hes clothes alone say it all, with food stains on his clothes, the same clothes he wears all week. My husband went in there with a back and neck injury and all he did was give him some Norcos and sent him on his way, twice! No referral for physical therapy, nothing. He switched out of the and filed a complaint. My son felt violated by Dr. Tekola when he was given a physical and Dr. Tekola did not wear gloves, touched his privates and only used hand sanitizer after, instead of washing his hands! Filthy dirty..what DR. would do that?

I had seen this doctor a few times. I told him I had blood work results showing I had high cholesterol and triglycerides. Long story short my next visit he looks at my results and tells me its not high. My last doctor told me was high, the lab ranges they give you you can without a doubt see my cholesterol high. Why would he say its not? I went in for possible UTI he did not take urine sample just prescribed antibiotics. Last visit b4 dumping this doctor was for sure throat, he breaks out his cell phone turns on his brightest flashlight app and looks down my throat. WTF this man is an idiot!!!!!!!!

my disability requires that any medical professional who provides me service should have a basic understanding of my special circumstance. This Dr. was very resistant to learning anything new about me other than my heart rate and blood pressure and what prescriptions I wanted. Dont expect more than the 10 min. of face time required. He has no interest in coordinating with your pharmacy or local DME provider to provide you with better care. He expects you to do all his office work on top of your own diagnosis. This is my opinion so far though he could work to change it

I have seen Dr. Tekola for over two years and believe he is caring and compassionate. He is intelligent, to the point and always advocate healthy life style. It hard to get a good doctor like him in the area with a Medical and Medicare insurance. He is very strict when it comes to prescribing narcotic pain medications. If you are looking for narcotics, that is not a place to go. He prefers to address the underlying problem. The cons; Hard to get appointment. If you need to be seen right away, ER or urgent cares are your best option.

He did not like to listen to you when you were telling him about a problem. He was always in a hurry. Would not refer you a specialist if you were told so by a hospital and due to that i got poor care and got much sicker than I should have. also a friend of mine sees him also and he is disabled and his care worker goes with him and the doctor flirts with her and will not tend to his needs at all.

I was just sent to hospital by ambulance for a migraine and 5 seizure each one lasted 3 to 5 min thanks to Dr aborham tekol for not filling all of my medican medican I need maby I i had it at home rather then leaving me with no medican no chose but er but thay only give me my medican in error no perception for in home care this dr is no good save your time

A lady I work with has been going to him for the 3 years , Ive been with her. She loves Dr Tekola , but I think he could be more informational and direct. He tells her to get blood and then forgets why. Im her caretaker, I remember everything.Thats my job, but it so much I can say because she is a adult.,

Does not care, will not refer you to a specialist no matter what, I paid out of my own pocket and got tests done, my diagnose was right, he would have never tested me and I would have gotten much more sicker, I would put 0 if I could best to avoid.

Worst Doctor, ever been suffering for 3 months countless ER Visits, due to his negligence my health has suffered, do not believe the positive reviews, do your self a favor and find another doctor, I have no idea How hes even in practice.
