Thought my cat was having labor complication because it seemed like it was taking a while. This being my first cat I freaked out and thought she was having complications. I browsed on the net to see if it was normal then decided to call around. VCA in lakewood being the first. VCA is a joke and quite frankly; bastards! Reason I say "bastards!" is you could tell over the phone that they were all about making money and didnt really care or listen. Without really hearing what the cats situation was, I was advised to bring her in immediately because the cat could die. MRI, blood test etc needed to performed immediately.... REALLY?!? VCA tactics are sleazy feeding off of fear. So, next I call Artesia Animal Hospital. They asked me what the cats symptoms were. Her environment, breathing paterns etc.. basically took the time to see what was really going on. That cat is fine. The pregnancy was normal. AAH spoke with me and answered all my questions. Thank you Artesia Animal Hospital.
