It is hard to put into words how thankful I am for the excellent treatment I received at Coast Physical Therapy. At first I never thought that a therapy would help my injured shoulder to recover again without having a surgery as I walked in at Coast Facility with a severe pain. However, with the knowledgeable Physical Therapist, I commend Mitch Holtkamp for the exceptional job that made my treatment and exercises enjoyable every visit and provided with a positive result slowly but surely progressing. The care and attention I received from Mitch and all the Physical Therapy Assistants was outstanding and helped me considerably to regain my strength and full range of motion on my shoulder again and I am proud to say that I have finally avoided surgery. Also, I would like to thank Cindy at the front desk who was always very helpful and friendly in arranging my schedule for the therapy sessions. Adam Meyer

Mitch is an excellent therapist. Hes very friendly, calm, and knowledgeable. Im seeing him after I fractured my acetabulum/pelvis/tail bone crashing out of a road bike race. Associated with my fractures, I have muscle atrophy, nerve pain and a lot of scar tissue. He absolutely helps me and pushes me further than I could get on my own. At home Im able to do about 40% of the stretching that he can get me to do. Mitch often targets my scar tissue using a negative pressure device which greatly reduces the sensation of being bound up at my hip joint. Mitch is highly adaptable to my changing symptoms. I can give him a couple sentences describing what Im feeling and he is able to address them through communication and also new activities. I highly recommend Mitch and Coast Physical Therapy. Especially for your sports medicine needs.

I have worked primarily with Kevin, but the entire team is extremely knowledgeable and they collaborate with each other and their patients for an optimal experience. I have been treated at Coast Physical Therapy on four separate occasions for various medical conditions which required physical therapy. On every visit I was treated with the best care I could imagine. I worked primarily with Kevin, but once in a while was seen by Chad. Kevin provided excellent care and was very friendly and cared enough to find out about my interests in life. I always felt better after I left therapy. Chad, Mitch and the office staff were very helpful and friendly as well. I also was very fond of Bri, the PT aide. Six months ago I went to Coast for a painful issue that had been bothering me for over two years. While I cant say I enjoyed the PT they prescribed, I can say it was very, very effective. Mitch did a great job of explaining what was causing my problems and what I needed to do to alleviate them. He showed me exactly how to do each exercise and corrected my form when necessary. After several weeks of daily practice and twice weekly visits my issues we greatly improved and today they are virtually non existent as long as I continue my PT once or twice a week. Thanks, Coast!
