She did not try and did not save my Labradoodle 4/29/15. She did however perform and charge me for a heartworm test, while he was bleeding to death running care credit checks leaving him fileted like a fish on a table where I said goodbye to him . She informed us there was nothing she could do to save him. I believe he could have been saved if I would have driven him to an emergency vet in Santa Rosa. My beloved pet and companion for 8 years, was stabbed to death by a stranger walking by our house. Dr. Waddington was not concerned or outraged by this heinous act. She refused to release my dogs medical records when I requested them even after final er bill was paid in full. She refused to discuss in person, her reason for this and why she would not provide our two other pets their monthly prescribed heartworm prevention or future care. No explanation was given. After no investigation was done after reporting to CLPD and Animal Control, I contacted ALDF and was provided with resources and valuable information regarding laws protecting animals, protocol and steps to take reporting crimes against animals, support and education for involved agencies and law enforcement. I will never forget the injustice lack of empathy and cooperation from Dr. Waddington and CLPD. Protection and laws were not enforced. A necropsy was not performed or procedure followed, reporting crime and mandated investigation that was required Because of this, my dogs murderer, still walks our streets, unpunished, unknown, and still a very real and certain threat to our pets, and human safety. Terri Larsen and LCM did broadcast on television and radio, at my request, to alert and inform community of this heinous crime and tragedy. Hopefully creating public awareness, outrage, and help facilitate needed change and laws enforced protecting animals. Thank you Jan Carroll Jan Carroll

Went to Jerri for years with my dogs. My dog had a horrible reaction to a flea medication. I never heard a dog scream before. Called up an talked to a woman tech who said in her 10 years she has never seen such a reaction. She showed no empathy and very cold. Expected to hear from Jerri regarding experience but she ever called. Took my dog to another vet within 2 days and she was o.k. My dog got sick about two months later. Took her back to new vet. Vet said to me since you are aware she has cancer she has a month to live. all her organs were shutting down in her body. Had to put her to sleep. I told vet I did not know she had cancer. When she was seeing Jerri she had it and Jerri never detected it. Looking back she never felt around my dogs bodies. She only looked at her ears and listened to her heart. When I changed vets they never took me off their mailing list. So a couple of months after my dog had to be put to sleep, I received a printed mailer with my dogs name on it. I was so upset because I was still in mourning. I called Jerris office and spoke with same person and she never apologized she just took me off their mailing list. Shes a very cold person. I also found out their prices were way higher then new vet. Jerri only shows the good reviews on her website. I regret taking my dog there because she could still be alive if she had been diagnosed correctly at the beginning.

I have never had a vet, or staff for that matter, give as much personal attention and care as doc jerry and her wonderful crew. Her quick diagnosis saved Buddy from possibly losing an eye or going blind. We brought him in with a sore on his eyelid that turned out to be cancer. Doc Jerry caught it early, froze it off, and it never returned. Jared stayed with him and took exceptional care of him when he had to be hospitalized over a weekend. They even let us visit him on a Sunday (when they were closed) so our little guy didnt have to go the whole time without his family. Any time we have a question we know we can call in and receive good advice. Stephanie always has tips for keeping the critters happy...even when its medicine time. Made the switch to Doc Jerry after the other vet in town gave our cat seizure meds for an ear infection...so glad we made the switch-wish we had been going to Doc Jerry from the beginning!!! (Her emergency rates were WAY cheaper. We paid hundreds of dollars for the other vet to misdiagnose the cat and overcharge us for seizure meds when we needed antibiotics.) We have always felt like family at Doc Jerrys. They take great care of our furry kids and we consider the whole staff part of our extended family.

The vet was fine, but very general about my dogs visit... Provided tons of literature but didnt handle the animal much or do a very thorough checkup, since she was busy talking about herself, experience, etc. Overheard her talking very rudely to staff and she accused my dog of having parvo (he didnt, and I was bringing him in for shots). Apparently she was worried about her very expensive puppy (that she brought with her to work) getting parvo, which I understand, but if youre worried about not getting an expensive young dog sick, dont bring it to a place where people BRING SICK DOGS, FOR TREATMENT, EVERY DAY. Also didnt receive his certificate of health while I was there for the visit, and had to wait a day or so, even though Id told her I needed it ASAP for travel. Pretty disappointed but not my normal vet so I dont have to worry about coming back.

I took my dog here, he has a severe heart murmur, was told he needed tooth pulled which is why I went there, he also has growth or something on foot. Was told he wasnt there for that. Dr Waddington came in said yep he needs tooth pulled, she hadnt even looked in his mouth yet! She said murmur no problem in putting him to sleep to pull tooth, my vet out of state about had a fit. Estimate to pull one tooth $1,10.00. Yes they didnt care about my baby at all. Tooth is healing as expected he had hurt his mouth. I will never go back there.

In my experience getting a vet to call you back on a Sunday in an emergency is as rare as a blue moon so you can imagine my relief when Dr. Jerri returned my call. My cats have, so far, received what I consider excellent care at a fair price (wound surgery, neutering, blood tests). The other vet I was patronizing charged $25 for a rabies shot, Dr. Jerri $16 and did and said things that I found questionable. I am very comfortable with The Dr. and her staff.

If you want your pet to not get any help in an emergency, be told they will be fine, then have Dr Jeri do absoutly nothing to save them, then come here. If you want your pet to be taken care of by people who live animals, this the last place you should go. Unless you want to over pay for your pets long, drawn out death, by a group of people who wont lift a finger to help you or your pet, then this is the lace.

I just moved here and went to Dr. Jerri with my cats. She is wonderful! The whole staff is great. I was looking at the other reviews here and asked her, she took over the clinic in Oct of 08, so the May 08 review was for the previous owners, not her.
