Please do not visit for the sake of your pet. I took my baby pomeranian that Ive had for 6 months to the vet owner of this establishment because my dog was unconscious and had unnormal behavior ... he said he was fine and tried to rush us out of his office. We refused to leave because a unconsious puppy is obviously not okay, we waited it out until we saw he fine after throwing up, he were returned back to himself. The vet said "oh thats probably what was wrong with him." Which is obvious and didnt take a vet to figure that out. The vet insisted he was ok, just to rush to the next client. Two weeks later my baby pup was unconscious AGAIN, this time after he threw up he died with 5 minutes. This was not only devastating but proved that the vet did not know what he was talking about. When I called the vet back to let him know he was wrong, and also to request a refund of $29. He said no, I mention to him that this was a act of malpractice , he cut me off from talking and without sympathy said oh well, and Im not giving you a refund and hung up on me. I beg you please DO NO go to this establishment it is simply about money for them. I really dont want anyone else to hurt as I did. Im currently in the process of developing a case to sue which you can do if any of you run into a similar situation!

I have been going to Downey Veterinary Hospital for 8+ years and they are consistently great. The staff is awesome and provides excellent customer service and the Vet. takes his time to explain things. I currently have a chihuahua who has a heart condition and when he was initially put on heart medication I appreciate the follow-up calls from the vet to check how everything was going. Because they are great showing up without an appointment during peak hours is not the best but in an emergency I dont mind waiting because I know my dogs will be treated great.

I absolutely without a doubt recommend Downey Veterinary Hospital. Dr. T is the best vet ever!!! He is kind, friendly, very knowledgeable and he takes his time. You never feel like just a number and you walk out of the office with all your questions answered. His staff is also the BEST!! All of the them are nice and friendly and ready to help!!! I definitely recommend Downey Veterinary Hospital!! I have been taking my two dogs for years and I wouldnt go anywhere else!!!

I called around to many Vets to find decent prices since I was a first time dog owner. This was the Vet with the best price. And I am so glad I went there. They are great. Dr. T is very patient, helpful and knowledgeable. The assistants and front desk personnel are also very nice and helpful. It has been 3 years and highly recommend them. They even accommodate you when are a walk in.

Great staff, from front end to back end and office managers and especially Dr T! So glad I chose this vet. I feel they are very opened minded and willing to offer solutions to help. Staff is super friendly, very clean office. Dr. Taguinod is an awesome Vet, my dog Brutus loved him. Their office gets pretty busy on Saturdays so I recommend making an appointment but who cares when there are so many cute dogs around!

Had made an appointment for a Thursday but when i get there the girl at the front desk says it was scheduled for Friday so we had to go back home. They do not have central air it was almost 100 degrees in there. Never went back.
