Two days before Thanksgiving 2016 our 7 yr old female Doberman Lucy lost the use of her back legs. I was devastated. I had no idea what could have happen. She wasnt doing anything out of her normal routine. That evening She was climbing onto the couch when her back legs buckled under her and she dropped to the floor. The next morning I called and got her an appointment. Moving her was like picking up a hundred pound water balloon. She was totally paralyzed from the waist down. Once at the vets they were very caring and patient with her. After multiple x-rays and a blood test, We were told she had about 10℅ feeling in her toes and her chances of recovery at that time was 50/50 but with each passing day that would drop. They spoke to us concerning her quality of life if she didnt show any improvement but I couldnt imagine terminating her life just because she couldnt walk. I know they were right but at that moment it wasnt acceptable to me. She was given (Prednisone) steroid +pain+muscle treatment thru an IV . This was a two part treatment, but the next day was Thanksgiving so we took her home with meds and she got her second IV treatment the day after Thanksgiving. I made a loop out of PVC and padded it so I could support her back end allowing her to walk on her front legs because she still had control of her bowels. But it took me a few days to come up with this contraption so I was unaware her loss of bladder control was from a urinary tract infection . Having never seen a female dog with a UTI l though she was dying. Even though I would immediately clean her up after she made a mess the Dr explained to me that a females bladder is very close to the outside of her body. So no matter how fast I cleaned her up bacteria had already entered her. At that vet visit I was beside myself . We had already spent the close to a thousand dollars and I did the know how we were going to pay for another visit. Dr Joon was so thoughtful and understanding. He really cared and the help he gave me brought me to tears. Dr Joon and Ruben made lasting impression on me. Ill never take my animals anywhere else. The entire staff was amazing. I cannot say enough good things about them. As for Lucy, ...Well Dr Joon told me it was worth a shot to take her to a chiropractor or seek treatment that were outside the realm of his expertise. . I took her to Friend of ours who practices Chinese medicine. Between the steroids (which made a huge difference I her overall body strength) and the help of our friend,. Lucy is walking again . God bless the staff at park community for their excellence and dedication to the work they do. I believe they helped me emotionally as much as they did Lucy physically. I highly recommend this vet to everyone.

Brought my dog in for a broken nail. When they brought him out... after trimming his nails he had another broken nail. They keep denying it was their fault. Poor dog... and I had to baby sit him for 3 days because he couldnt move around with his 2 front paws bandaged. On top of that, they gave me the wrong pain medication. Dog is 7 lbs and they gave me 50 mg of Tramadol instead of 10 mg as prescribed by the Vet. Poor dog was very sick that night and the following days... I complained to the Vet in charge but I sense this is normal to them. The whole operation is design to offer more services and to charge the most they can get away with. I brought my dog in for a broken nail treatment and they kept pushing other services while he was on the table... Im escalating this to Vet board for further review... Be extra careful and request to be present while they perform any care to your loving pets... In addition, my daughter got traumatized from watching her puppy suffer during those 3 days while on bandages...

I dont necessarily live in the area anymore but I still bring my pet here. I trust the staff and doctors at Park Community hospital! I guess when you trust a place, you dont mind the extra 5 mile drive to get there. The facility is always clean, the equipment is modern, they always find out whats wrong with my Maddy and take care of the issues. They make sure that I leave feeling that my concerns have been met. Maddy says "woof woof woof woof woof!" for 5 stars! LOL

Thank God I came here. I thought we were going to loose our puppy I just bought.The technicians were beyong helpful. I can say they saved his life. He is fine & and healthy now && they worked with my budget.. Thank all you guys at the hospital. I highly recommend this place.

I was referred to this hospital by a guy at Petco. A lil far from home but well worth it. Took my baby Samantha to get vaccines and it so happened it was their discount vaccine day. Clean place, modern, excellent staff. This is Sams new vet. I recommend it 100%.
