My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Shaghasi for 7 years now. I have had nothing but positive experiences with Marjan -- she insists you call her by her first name -- and her staff. Marjan is very personable, thorough in showing and explaining to you what she is seeing in x-rays and exams, and understands that patients might have anxiety about seeing a dentist. It sounds funny to say this but Marjan inspired me to take much better care of my teeth than I ever had before. And not through painful exams and cleanings, though they were uncomfortable in my early years with her since I had not been a regular flosser. Marjan described her younger self as the worst dentists patient ever. The fact that she can laugh about her past of poor oral care or dental emergencies makes her more understanding of lifes challenges, but also made her professional advice more accessible and less "big brotherly". Happy to say that my dental hygiene is great today and, for the first time in my life, I had ZERO pain during my cleaning. Hooray for small victories!! Dublin Corners Dental is a clean, well-appointed office. The furnishings are modern, exam chairs have massage-capability, you have an option of watching a movie during longer procedures on overhead flat screens, and they offer free water and coffee. My review would not be complete without mentioning Lorena, who is the dental hygienist who works on me most often. Lorena is friendly and thorough. Is it weird to say that I actually look forward to my dental appts?

Update 6/1/17: Here I thought I could not find anything else to gush about when it came to Dublin corners Dental - BUT I was wrong!! I went yesterday for a cleaning with my girl Candice. After yacking with all my favorite people (Maria, Damaris, and Candice) and updating them on my crazy family, I headed back for my cleaning which I always love because it is easy and I walk out feeling great. (maybe it is the massage chair?) she reminded me that I was advised that Dr. Shaghasi would not be my dentist this day, but rather their new dentist (cant recall her name.) She talked about how great she was so I was not concerned but bummed that I was not going to see Dr. Shaghasi whom I like very much. I very much liked the new dentist. She was VERY nice, thorough, sweet. A perfect fit to this office of people that feel like family. If you are not going to this dentist...your loss. :) Updated 11/2016: This was the first time I had to have any work other than preventative maintenance in many year. I was not looking forward to it but I was being silly. It was painless (literally) and went by so fast I now have to rent the movie they let me choose to watch because I did not get to see all of it. I really cannot say enough great things about this office and every single person in it. You cant go wrong with Dublin Corners Dental. We love them!

Visiting the dentist has always been a very stressful, panic inducing experience for me, until now. A while ago I was explaining my horrible dentist experiences to a co-worker of mine and she suggested I try Dublin Corners Dental; saying that it was a "spa-like atmosphere." I didnt really believe her, but I figured I would give it a shot. I have now been going to Dublin Corners Dental for about a year now and have had several things done. The atmosphere really is more like a spa than a dentist. The front desk always offers water or coffee while you wait and they will put movies on for you when you need to have fillings done and they always offer the massage chair. I never have to wait more than a few minutes in the lobby; the office is super clean and comfortable; everyone always goes out of their way to make sure I am comfortable; and Dr. Shaghasi and her team must be very experienced because I have never been in pain or uncomfortable during a procedure, which I am truly grateful for! I definitely recommend Dublin Corners Dental!

I have been coming here for many years, almost since the practice opened in 2006. In all those years Dr. Shaghasi and her team have provided the most wonderful service. Never have I seen a "grumpy" face or attitude - everyone is always friendly. I have very sensitive teeth and everything is geared towards making the patient feel relaxed and comfortable. The aim is to have the patient feel no pain or discomfort - and they achieve that every time. The reception area is has lovely decor, is soothing and relaxing, and there are always beverages on offer. If you are having a lengthy treatment they offer movies that play on ceiling mounted TVs. Importantly the treatments are always well done and I have never had to return to have something redone. The front office staff are exceptional and always know exactly where things stand with my insurance. Going to the dentist was something I used to dread but not any more since I started going to Dublin Dental Corners.

Dublin Corners Dental rocks. Im a hard core wimp when it comes to healthcare, avoided the dentist for decades because of it. A small tooth problem lead me to Dublin Corners Dental a couple of years ago. And the experience was dramatically different from what I expected. The staff are awesome, the dentists and hygienists are top notch, and despite a busy schedule, they take the time to really talk you through stuff and make sure you understand whats going to happen before it happens, while things are being done, and after the procedure is finished. The admin staff is also awesome. They take great care in solidifying appointments, and confirming through MULTIPLE means of communication to make the appointment happen. Communication is top notch, and they dont make me re-fill out forms every time if Ive already filled them out. Just a top notch crew all around. If you need dental work or cleaning, trust these folks. You cant go wrong.

Dr. Shaghasi and the entire office staff and Dental Assistants are amazing. My first visit here was a spa like experience. Ive been to many dentists and none have given me the feeling like they wanted to help me understand how to better care for my teeth and mouth. Dr. Shaghasi took extra time and care to help me understand and know why certain cavities happened and how to prevent them and what to look for in the future. I left the office with another appointment for my dental work and a plan, but also with so many free samples, a coffee mug, a whole box of floss, and teeth whitening strips! Which I was super excited about because I was actually thinking about whitening my teeth. Such a great experience and Ive already recommended 4 people to see Dr. Shaghasi because it was that great of an experience. You dont have to fear the dentist. Dr. Shaghasi and her team are amazing, super personable and down to earth!

Having moved to the East Bay Area 5 years ago, one of my colleagues recommended Dublin Corners Dental / Dr. Marjan Shaghasi. Since then, we’ve been going regularly for routine cleanings, general dental care, even two implants and are extremely happy with the services and quality of dental care received here. Dr. Shaghasi works quickly and gently, handling injections, fillings, crowns, and you-name-it with ease. As she works, she asks if you’re ok, tells you what shes doing, answers questions, provides guidance. She is always respectful of our time, but wants to be sure that all questions and concerns are answered. Hygienists are gentle and caring, and at the same time thorough and full of information. The office staff is always warm, friendly and accommodating as to scheduling appointments. The office itself is modern, extremely clean, and comforting.
