I love Dr Stein, and Im so glad I found him! He was recommended to me by a co-worker and half our office were patients of his. He is a rare breed who genuinely cares for patients, listens earnestly, makes intelligent diagnoses AND suggests preventative and holistic recommendations, when necessary. I like that he always takes time to thoroughly explain and educate the patient. He makes you feel comfortable talking about even very intimate things, and his staff always takes extra care of me and my fear of needles. I feel that he sincerely cares for my well-being and Ive recommended him to more co-workers, who became patients. I also appreciate that he offers womens health exams and physical therapy in his office. The entire office is very geared toward patient advocacy. Norma helped me request an MRI through insurance and was even willing to appeal when it was denied. She was always available by phone and diligently followed up with me. Frankly, I just cant believe anyone could say this office is driven by $. Have you ever been to an MD in Beverly Hills? Dr. Stein is what doctors used to be before the insurance companies changed everything.

Dr. Stein and his staff wholeheartedly maintain their 3-star rating in my book. Unlike most doctors who just want to take your money, write you a prescription, and rush you out of their office, Dr. Stein is Very professional and extremely helpful. Hes thorough and patient. He takes his time and makes sure you leave his office with a full understanding of what is/isnt wrong with you and what your options are. I feel very comfortable every time I visit knowing that Im in the best hands. In my opinion, He cares deeply about his patients. Lastly, Ive never had any financial hassles or insurance headaches with Dr. Steins office, which adds a lot of bonus points, because I cant remember the last time I was financially unscathed by a medical visit or procedure. The last thing anyone wants after a doctors visit is to add stress to your life due to a medical bill.

I found my first visit to Dr. Steins office to be awesome. In addition to a courteous, efficient staff, he spent as much time with me as need be during my physical; answering question after question, exhibiting patience, offering answers that took into account common sense and his medical expertise. When I had to call him back this morning with some additional questions, he spent as much time on the phone with me as I needed and did not make me feel like I was being worrisome or a hypochondriac. As someone who has been on and off insurance for 7 years (finally back on for good - thanks, Obama!), Dr. Stein is a real Godsend. He not only treats you like a person, but his experience and even-keeled demeanor makes his practice trustworthy. Looking forward to staying with him for the long-term.

If i could give negative stars I would. My experience was awful. I was there for a TB test, and was told I had to answer questions regarding my pleasure with sexual acts, how many sexual partners ive had, and several other personal questions. When I told the receptionist I did not feel comfortable turning in the form i had already filled out, she told me I had to because it "was their property." A piece of paper, with questions relating to nothing with a TB test. She was incredibly rude and kept demanding i give her the paper with intimate answers on it before i finally just ran out of the office. This was a traumatic and horrible experience, the staff is poorly trained and unprofessional and unethical.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Stein for fifteen years and my experience has always been positive. The environment is great and the staff makes you feel at ease. Setting up appointment is easy, they accommodate me, even on the same day and if I have to cancel they reschedule me and they try to set up an appointment that is most convenient for me. He takes his time to listen to my medical problems which is a lot and never did he make you feel that he is rushing you out of the door. He is knowledgeable gives you advice on how to keep yourself healthy and diagnose all my health concerns correctly. If you want a doctor that treats you well then go see Dr. Stein.

Dr. Stein was a fantastic Doctor! He really helped me with my migraines. I have been living with migraines for years and no one took the detailed notes and care to put together all of my symptoms and find a way to relieve my pain. Also, great staff - they called me to remind me about my second appointment. Which I really appreciated since I almost forgot. They were also really helpful in explaining how to get parking since parking under the building is so expensive. Great doctor and office, I highly recommend him!

I would highly recommend Dr. Stein as a primary care physician. He is bright, caring and ensures all of your needs are met no matter how big or small. Dr. Stein made me feel comfortable and spent a great deal of time answering all my questions. Also, the office was very helpful in assisting me with insurance benefits. I really appreciated the follow up call the next morning, which shows Dr. Stein truly cares about each of his patients. If you want the best, Dr. Stein is for you!

From the moment I went in until the last time I talked to them on the phone, they have been very unorganized and a pain to deal with. Their office is uncomfortably small, the interns or associates are awkward and seem like theyre all new and their receptionist is simply unpleasant to deal with. Dr Stein wasnt too bad, although he could have been a bit more personable. At the end of the day, they just didnt make me feel like they really cared for my wellbeing.

I have been going to Dr. Stein for over 6 years. He is professional, proactive and very thorough. Norma, the lad at front desk is also very thorough and a pleasure to deal with. She always does an exceptional job at fitting me in, calling my pharmacy or just calling me back if I leave a message. I really feel that in this day and age there are few doctor offices that make you feel like a valued patient and this office does exactly that.

Dr. Stein is an immoral leech. He prescribes unnecessary procedures and he attempts to conceal the tests/procedures/results/etc that you walked into his office in the first place for in order to keep you coming back so he can bilk as much insurance reimbursement per patient as possible. HE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN FOR MALPRACTICE. Dr. Stein is a classic illustration of the rampant healthcare abuse that continue to drive up costs for us all.

Dr. is brief. Staff is terrible. I called them every time this week and they were unable to answer a simple question - I am traveling abroad and would like to know if I need a booster for Hep A. They continually said they would call me back, and have not. Then I receive a call saying it will be 25 dollars to tell me, or I can come into the office. REALLY? Yes. Really.
