I visited Peak Health Medical Group at 2143 S Sepulveda Blvd #300, Los Angeles, in early May 2015. The receptionists and most of the workers are all decent, not rude when you are there in person. However, good luck on getting connected with them on the phone. They simply do not like to answer phone calls and their phone system goes round and round in a loop. I think this place has far too many patients so they don’t value any new ones. The nurse practitioner acted as if she was running some sort of a race. She was done in 10 minutes and she did not want to spend time for my questions. The bad phone system and not enough care and attention would still be OK if I at least got the test results which I am still waiting on today. It is nearly impossible to get a live person on the phone. It is very frustrating. Oh yes they do have a web portal that you get access to by an automatic e-mail. It does not show any details and the site is not functional. I hope they return my phone call one day.

I have been to Peak Health several times now, both for regular checkups and injuries/illnesses; and been treated kindly, respectfully, and cheerfully each time. Ive called up and been able to get same-day appointments every time Ive tried, so far. Importantly, since I am uninsured, they are very cost-conscious and try to balance delivering the best care with keeping costs low - and do a great job of it. In particular, I have seen Dr. Maryam Farazha several times; and she is very knowledgeable, sensitive, and really takes the time to listen to and answer my questions about my health. Finally - I am NOT a huge fan of needles (who is??). But the tech who drew my blood was such a pro that I really (no, REALLY) didnt feel the stick. Clearly he was incredibly experienced and good at what he does - very reassuring for the needle-squeamish. Overall, this is the practice I chose after extensively researching many doctors in the area, and Im really glad I chose Peak Health.

Love my doctor but the office staff is incompetent!!! Frequently have had to deal with refills not being represcribed. Office staff say they notified you that you need to come in in order to be represcribed but they havent. Then try to book an appountment when you have run out of meds....2+ weeks for an appointment. This is not only incompetent but medically dangerous!! Try to get through to my physician but office staff will not get the doctor to the phone and not sure if messages get to the doctor. Today, the office staff hung up on me because they said I was rude. Really??!! 5 days of trying to get medications refilled and an appointment and I am rude???! I should be!!!!

Ive been with Peak Health for YEARS (since 08) and theyve always been mediocre. This past years experience has been pretty bad. Not only do they make you wait for a long time for your appointment, they also are failing to provide my test results from over a month ago. Ive tried contacting them but no one is available via phone DURING business hours. They always have the out-of-office phone assistants take messages but Peak Health doesnt respond to those messages nor emails! They have horrible customer service and is not speedy with their responses whatsoever. It doesnt seem like they put patients in priority.

Where do I begin? In short, this place breaks promise, doesnt deliver quality healthcare, has rude receptionists, doesnt return emails and phone calls, makes patients wait over an hour for basic appointments, misrepresents wait time, cant tell you if the doctor is running on time if you call ahead, and has management that says, "if you complain so much why are you still coming here." The only reason is that its less than 5 min from me.

Came here for a physical after a joining a new health insurance plan. Krystal and the whole staff were great and I was in and out under 45 minutes. Even though it was quick, they still took the time to answer all the questions I had and make some simple recommendations that will be easy for me to incorporate into my daily routine. Really the only downside is the parking fee (they validate but its still $5).

Dont expect anyone to answer the phone for at least 30-45 minutes after they open. Not a bad place, just has the worst customer service EVER. People arent really friendly or helpful (minus the doctors). Really, they just need to fire their support staff and start fresh.

This place is ok. Dont expect to get an appointment soon. Some of the people who answer the phone are a little retarded. The front desk staff are rather unfriendly. I did like the doctors here but will go elsewhere.
