I am totally dissapointed!I have a chinchilla, she has a white stain deep in her left eye. It does not bother her- she is a very active animal. But I wanted to be sure that living with this stain is ok for my pet. We called to Westchester Veterinary Center and Cat Clinic and asked if they could treat a chinchilla, they said "yes". We came to this place and Dr Yoo said it was conjunctivitis (at the moment there were no redness and no pus in chinchillas eye). He asked us if we want to flush her eye, buy eye drops and vitamins and do injection. We agreed with all of it, except flushing, but still they did it. After 1st visit the eye became red and purulent. Then I came again in 4 days (all this time I was giving her the eye drops). Doctor Yoo said I needed to stop giving her eye drops, he gave my chinchilla second antibiotic injection . Her eye was still red and purulent. I asked him why my pet was getting worse. Dr Yoo said that they have posted a picture of my chinchilla (without asking me) on Facebook after 1st visit and comparing situation at the moment of 2nd visit with the one on photo he could see the progress. But I was not even sure if it was my pet on the picture and if it was her LEFT eye. Most of all- her eye was really getting worse. Later they have denied that it was my pet on the photo. In 5 days I came again.During the 3rd visit he gave her injection again and rinsed her eye. He said that we were done. In 2 weeks her health status has worsened again. She could not even open her left eye! I believe that professional activity of Dr Yoo has led to disastrous results. My pet is stiil suffering from his actions. I have posted my feedback at their Facebook page. They offered me to come again, but I do not want to hurt my chinchilla again.

Dr. Yoo, Where do I begin. If I didnt find you my little Rocky would be gone by now. I was so stressed after his third surgery I didnt know what was going on at that point. Looking back on everything, I wish I appreciated you more. I didnt realize how good and honest of a doctor you were until I received post op X-rays seven months later. Youre surgeries have been successful on Rocky and I cant thank you enough from the bottom of my heart. When Rocky was six months old he broke his right arm. I was devastated. Not even I have broken a bone in my life. I went to the VCA not knowing how awful of a job they would do to fix his arm leaving loose screws. Immediately after visiting with the VCA for four weeks changing his casts, I decided it was time to find a vet that actually cared. I felt something was off with the VCA. Thats when I found Dr. Yoo via Yelp. Rocky had an exam with Dr. Yoo and thats when I found out he suffered hip dysplasia. My dogs hips were weak and he used his front legs for everything. At eight months, Rocky broke his left arm. Thankfully by this time, I had found Dr. Yoo and he performed a clean surgery. Dr. Yoo informed me of possible loose screws in the right plate. Sure enough he was damn right. Rocky would need to have surgery AGAIN on his right arm because the lack of care from the VCA West Los Angeles. Now at one year and half, Rocky will have his second FHO surgery and the removal of the screw and possibly a new plate in his right arm. But only with Dr. Yoos care because he is the only vet I can now fully trust. Thank you Dr. Yoo and the fellow staff at Westchester Veternarian for everything you have done for Rocky and I. We love you guys.

I dont know about others, but for me, thats totally waste of money! So today I came to do a general health exam for my new cat. After waiting more than 30 mins after the appointment time, a vet tech helped check his weight, his temperature, his eyes and ears, told me its dirty and later doctor would tell me how to clean it (which never happened), gave me some booklets of vaccination guide, a pet food Ive never heard before, a pet insurance company Ive never heard before, some flea plan, etc. Then Dr Yoo came with a student to double check my cats eyes, ears, teeth, activity, recommended me to use bitter apple when hes biting something I dont want him to bite (Thank you for that and thats where the one more star comes from), asked me to do some vaccination my cats breeder told me never do or dont need to do, and thats it! And it costs me $48! I know its not a big number. But it still means a big pack of cat food! What else, let me think, Dr Yoo seems doesnt know freeze dried cat food and chuckles when I said I may feed with raw diet in the future. So heres what I got from todays visit: cats weight, cats temperature (which I havent got yet and need to wait their system fixed to email to me), some useless booklets, recommendation of bitter apple, and a $48 bill! You can say it totally worth the money but am I going back to this place? NO!!!

Dr. Yoo is the vet who teaches other vets. There is no vet in town with as much knowledge and experience as Dr. Yoo! The staff is incredibly friendly and they genuinely care about you and your pet. When my puppies got Giardia (something I doubt my previous vet would have discovered) they called me several times after my visit to check on me and my puppies. Dr. Yoo himself must have spent hours answering all of my questions, explaining preventative techniques, and teaching me about my puppies. The prices are also great, much cheaper than the last two vets I have had experience with. I also really like that they sell iVet food. Its much better quality than any other food I know of. And both of my puppies like it much more than the Natural Balance I was feeding them. They inhale it as if it was human food, something Ive never seen them do with the Natural Balance. It even costs less than the Natural Balance! Best service, best care, and best prices - Im so happy to have found this place!

My 10 year old lab developed Diabetes and had no idea this had occurred. We bought in Mocha and her blood sugar levels were off the chart and required insulin and IV fluids. She was near death and was hours from saying goodbye to my beloved friend. Dr. Yoo and his staff were very supportive of me and advised to hang in there which I did. After almost two weeks of IV Fluids and Anti-Biotics she started to recover. She did however develop muscle neuropathy and lost the ability to walk!! I could not leave her alone at home and Dr. Yoo boarded my dog for two weeks during the day until I got off work. Its been a long recovery but the goods news is Mocha is walking now and back to her old tricks. Thanks to Dr. Yoo and his staff Mocha should see a few more years of belly rubs.

Brought my 8 week old rescue here who came to my house with kennel cough, giardia, and other issues that come standard with rescues. I brought my pup here and they were extremely caring and knowledgable. My dog was great in a week and they even gave me a leash and shampoo free of charge since I was a college kid overwhelmed with a puppy. Rest of my service here was great as well, and I even sadly saw someone bring in a dog that had been hit by a car and left in the street. The pedestrian was not the dog owner and the Westchester vets took in and cared for the dog even though it was tagless and no one knew the owner. Highly recommend them for anyone in the Westchester and Playa areas
