I took my chihuahua 3 weeks ago because he needed surgery in his mouth to remove some teeth. Granted he had bad teeth. He had his surgery after a couple of days we noticed a bump on his left cheek and he developed a strange cough. At his re-check I mentioned this to the doctor. She removed the bump and come to find out it was a tumor. The doctor said herself "I dont know how I missed this, but he has a tumor on his left jaw and its spreading". Can someone explain how a tumor can be missed when its on the jaw and your doing mouth surgery. She also stated that it had nothing to do with the "money" and that she will call me to inform me what she comes up with. No Call! Called last Wednesday and left her a message. No Call! Called today again and I was assured I would get a call back. NO CALL! Now Im being ignored, but I wasnt being ignored when I spent $1300. Now I dont know if my beautiful boy is gonna survive.

I have taken both of my pitbulls to this vet since I have moved to Oakley. My poor animal is suffering and has to continue seeing the vet for the same issues for years now, with no conclusion besides hes allergic to something. The only way he gets better are from the pills they have prescribe which has an expiration date on it. Only one time I was able to receive the refills without an appt and I called early that morning to not receive a call back that the prescription were ready. I called them 30 mins before closing that day for them to tell me its been ready but they were busy. Now I have to take him back in for another visit to not receive an answer besides hes allergic to something, "it could be anything". Ive spent hundred of dollars for them to give me the same pills and that hes allergic to something. Im done giving you my money. Its time to find a vet that will care for my animals.

Everybody at cypress Veterinary Hospital treated our cats - and us - very well. The receptionist, assistants, and veterinarians offer professional care and empathetic humanity. DR D and her staff are amazing Having worked in the vet med industry it was very hard to find a good vet once i moved and i wont go anywhere else now. They always do a good job and DR D and the whole staff went above and beyond when i came home from work to find my 4 dogs got into trouble when i gone and all needed immediate care. They stayed late to help my dogs and never once complained i was so scared and frantic and i am forever greatful for thier kindness and compassion They were all ok thank heavens but cant say enough good things about Dr Decosta the techs that stayed to help and the front staff who were all awesome. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great vet been going there for 10 years now.

I cannot recommend Cypress Veterinary Hospital ENOUGH! I have been coming here since the early 1990s when living in Antioch. I moved back to the San Francisco area in 1995 and STILL come to Cypress to see Dr. DeCosta. She is the absolute BEST Veterinarian you could ever find (and certainly worth the drive!). She not only provides excellent professional care but also provides that totally "caring touch." All of my dogs have always loved coming to see her and she has a great staff too! If you need a Veterinarian or have considered changing, please go to Cypress and see Dr. DeCosta and Staff. You will not regret it!

I am so grateful to Dr.DeCosta for all the times she has come to the rescue of my furry family. My pets mean the world to me. Her skill in diagnosis and remedies when there is one has never failed. Its great peace of mind having her as my veterinarian. I adore the staff at Cypress Vets as well. They are all professional and personable. Always patient with me and very helpful. Dr.Smith has proved that she too is a skilled veterinarian I can trust when Dr.D is away. The reason Ive been going to Cypress Vets for nearly twenty years now is because I want the best for my babies....and they are!

My Cat "Sammie" doesnt travel well. When upset she will loose all bladder control. The people at Cypress Veterinary Hospital have been very understanding. Because of a bad thyroid she needs to be taken in for blood test every 6 months. They have always treated her with gentle concern. If a cat clean up is needed they provide it and a clean towel for the ride home (just in case). I never look forward to taking her to the vet but i really appreciate the people and the care she receives there.

I started going to Cypress Veterinary when I moved to East County in 2004. I have been taking my cats to them for 10 years now. Everyone there shows a true love of their jobs; respect for you and your pets; and a understanding heart of how much your pet means to you. Even when they have been super busy they take the time to explain what may be going on with your pet. Dr. D is fantastic. I recommend them highly.

I have only gone to one other vet before we stumbled upon Cypress, but we will look no further! They are absolutely wonderful! They are amazing, helpful, trustworthy, kind, loving, and know what they are doing. We leave from there happy and actually wanting to go back! Our dog is comfortable with them and I wouldnt go anywhere else!

Have been using Cypress Vet. going on 14yrs. Doctor DeCosta is loved by my two Boxers. Whoops Belle my oldest lasted 12 years with Dr DeCosta help. Her staff is just as outstanding as she is. J.B. my boy runs into her facility looking for her and the staff. I trust Cypress vet under Dr. DeCosta leadership .

I have been a client of Dr DeCostas for 12 years now. She is hands down the best vet in town with the strongest support staff around. I have been on occasion to other vets in town with my friends and their pets and have not received the quality care as I have with Dr. Decosta.

Love, Love, Love these guys. Our dogs are treated like they are members of their families. Medical expertise is excellent and their medical approach seems to take into consideration current medicine as well as homeopathic. You cant get better care for your pets :)

I love Dr. DeCosta. Someone recommended her acupuncture treatments for older dogs, and it really works. My 14-year old sweetie have gotten temporary relief from her severe arthritis. I know it wont cure her, but to see my dog more comfortable is great.

We have taken our furry friends to see Dr. Decosta for many years. She is a brilliant doctor with a loving heart. We drive all the way from Oakland to see Dr.Decosta, 45 minutes one-way. Thats how dedicated we are to her care.
