My experience with Dr. Shahriari was good. She was very professional. Dr Evans was unprofessional; he said some things that made me feel uncomfortable. I went in for contacts. I had to make a couple changes through the process and in the end when I bought the contacts through Evans, the prescription was wrong. Some how their notes were wrong. And still wrong at the end plus missing the very last note of the last contact I received from them. Very frustrating. I had brought home the "wrong" contacts opened both boxes because I didnt have any reason not to and when it was realized that this was indeed the wrong prescription they refused to accept the mistake and pay for the correct prescription. I didnt push the point because I shouldnt have to. They should have righted their wrong. Wrong notes in my record then wrong prescription. SOOOO frustrating. I had to pay more out of my pocket.

Its hard for me to write about how horrible the customer service is at Evans Eye Care. I first went to see Greg Evans when his practice was next to Trader Joes. Yes, he can measure; however the labs used to fill prescriptions suck. What else has changed is his customer service. The women who think they are in control of the front desk are un accommodating, and fail to hear. Never in my life, have I encountered where Ive been hung up on. Greg Evans has also become unresponsive to answering emails addressed to him as well. Daniel who works in optical is nice, but he lies. If youre willing to settle for subpar personal customer service then go for it, but it youre wanting great customer service along with working with an eye doctor who knows how to handle eyes; this is not the place for you. Such a nightmare I am still having. 7 weeks later, and nothing except being hung up on, and lied to.

This was the most comprehensive eye exam I have ever had. Each of the staff was efficient and professional. I felt valued as a client. I ended up ordering my glasses from them though I did not feel compelled to. I would highly recommend them. Follow up after receiving my new glasses: I could not be happier. Having had previous prescriptions filled at big box stores, I had forgotten that there is a difference in the quality of materials used. My new lenses are so lightweight and my vision is so clear it was worth the extra money. I will be a return client when I need further eye care services.

Another horrible experience. Had to come get my entire eye history, and being held hostage by a firm I used to speak highly. Funny how optics change, and a staffer who does not care for my consumer attitude. Excuse me? Is that the type of business you want your dollars going into? Ask yourself, "What if it were me?" Sure folks are busy. Life is busy. However, your medical history is yours. Smart businesses today know that consumer first wins no matter what the situation maybe. Dont say you were not worn ahead. Tides always change.

Dr. Evans was the third doctor I saw and I really wish he was the first. He was thorough, attentive and genuinely cared about my eyes even if it was a Saturday when his practice wasnt even open. It was an emergency situation and by day three my eyes already felt so much better. I will forever be grateful and will recommend to anyone who needs a good ophthalmologist right from the beginning.
