Just completed my first visit at Point Richmond Optometry and, after doing a lot of research beforehand as well, I am confident that I have made the right choice for my eye care. Doctor Way Yu, O.D. carried out a very thorough eye examination and explained everything to me in a very clear and concise manner. Any questions that I had were also answered to my satisfaction. There is also an excellent range of spectacle frames to choose from and another member of staff, Katrina was again very helpful in explaining all the options available to me. I have no hesitation in highly recommending this Optometry center to you. June 2015 update Another year, and another visit for my regular checkup. Point Richmond Optometry continue to set the bar high. My doctor and her staff do an excellent job with my eye examination and everything is explained in a way that is easy for me to understand. Front of office staff also do an excellent job. I still highly recommend you pay a visit here the next time you either need an eye-test or just want to check out some new frames,

I started going to Point Richmond Optometry, years ago, due to a little emergency, that I had going on. I got a large metal sliver, in my eye, that was extremely painful! I called P.R.O on a whim, because I live close by, and really needed help! I called, explained my situation, and although it was closing time, Dr. Asmus insisted that I come in, and that she would wait for me! She fixed me up, and I have been gladly using her services, ever since! Her staff is great! Always helpful,and very cheerful! P.R.O., seems like it would be a great place, to work, and I highly recommend them, to anyone, in need of eye care, glasses, and accessories! Ricky Chavez~~~Richmond, Ca.

Eye Opening experience (figuratively & literally)! Dr. Paula and the staff are professional, friendly, informative and very knowledgeable. I didnt feel like I was cattle being herded as I have in the past with others. I would definitely recommend Richmond Point Optometry. The location is perfect and easily accessible on public transportation. There are lots of neat shops and cafes in the area.

Dr Asmus has been gazing deep into my eyes for more than 2 decades. She looks all the way back to the retina. She always takes the time to give a proper examination and is great at finding the perfect pair of Kontour Kontact lenses for my aging eyes. She is great with understanding special needs, like people who stare at computer screens. (Know anyone like that?)
