I went in person to this office to make an appointment for my husband, the front desk lady looked up our insurance and assured me that they were a preferred provider, I also went home and checked for myself. A few days later my husband had his appointment and they took down his medical insurance information (he didnt know our vision was separate). We received a bill a bit later for "medical services" we called and were assured thats how they bill and that our vision coverage would pay whatever wasnt paid by medical, a few months later we received a bill again for "medical services" for $250 when we called this time the lady who answered, Michelle, was so very rude! He asked what was done that was medical and all she would say is that his bill wasnt covered and that its our responsibility. She told my husband that she didnt care if we paid it or not, that she would just send it to collections. He asked to speak to her boss and she just replied with "I dont have a boss." After calling our insurance, it turns out that they billed medical because he mentioned that his eyes itch sometimes. So they said that medical testing was done. No medical testing was done at all!!!! She spoke with him about the itching and recommended an over the counter eye drop. We now have a $250 bill for an appointment that we were assured would be covered at 100% and it should have been!!!! We obviously wont be going back! Horrible customer service and apparently money hungry!!!

The doctors are great and the lady who fits the glasses and helps pick out frames is wonderful! The receptionist however every time Id take my kids had a horrible attitude. For the past 4 months Ive tried to schedule an appointment for my son because his glasses broke AGAIN. Well 3 appoinments in a row I got called and told we need to cancel or reschedule. The last time was because labor day weekend they were going to be closed so no big deal I call to reschedule and the receptionist tells me I need to call back after September 1st because there is no available appointments. I call back on the 2nd and she says they no longer accept our insurance. Instead of drawing it out for the past 4 months they could have just told me this and I would have taken my son else where. Absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional to waste my time and act like my kid not having glasses this whole time was not important because they knew they were no longer going to accept our insurance after the 1st of September.

The only reason why this company gets one star , is because in order to rate, you have to select a star. If I had the option, I wouldnt give them not even ONE! Very rude and unprofessional! I made an apt for my son 3 times, and every time they would cancel the day before the apt. Today, I called to find out what the issue is, and the lady who picked up was very rude! I understand theyre in the process of getting a new doctor, but however, she should be more kind when explaining that. Seems like she directed her frustration out on the wrong person! Thats not the way you do business at all. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL !! 5 Thumbs down!

I think the doctors are kind and the lady in the front of the office is very sweet. However, the front of office does seem a little understaffed. They have the same woman checking in patients, fitting glasses, and doing one of the eye tests (and a lot more I am sure). She handles it very well, much better than I would, but I think things would go more smoothly if they had 2 people working in the front. :)

Worst company ever poor customer service receptionist are very rude would never recommend them ever!!! Had to call to cancel my apt due to my daughter having the flu and was humiliated for it. They didnt believe me. Worst experience ever. Save yourself the trouble and find somewhere else to go they are way to full of themselves there

Ive never had anything but good experiences here. From appointments to fittings. My guess is the complainers believe because theyre spending a few bucks they should get a snack, preferential treatment and a car wash.

I am a new patient here and the office was very aconmadatung to my schedule. The office staff and doctor went above and beyond my expectations and were very friendly. I highly recommend Oregon Eye Care.
