Today I went in to have my contacts re-checked as I have had issues with my previous contacts. Every time I have went the entire team at Century Eye Care have been great!!! Today though, I met a gal named Laura at the front desk who I felt was not polite and her skills in customer service are terrible. I am a front desk at a dental practice and customer service is something I truly feel is very important to me. I was told I could return my unopened boxes of contacts last week and also this morning at my appointment. But she very rudely informed me that I could not even though they were not opened at all. She even seemed annoyed at my presence when I arrived at my eye appointment. Her greeting seemed fake and she ordered me to sit and wait for the doctor. I dont order my patients at the office I work at to go sit and wait for the doctor. I greet them with a friendly hello, how are you doing and if you would like to have a seat, the doctor will be with you shortly. But hey that is just me. Anyhow due to her lack of good quality customer service I will be ordering my contacts elsewhere. I felt embarrassed and also like she was belittling me. As I had said though, everyone else at Century Eye Care has been great! In fact when I first came there I did a great review for them on Yelp as I felt they were all very attentive to my eye care needs. Too bad that one bad apple has ruined it all!

The experience was exactly what I wanted. The eye exam was professionally processed; first with the technician and afterwards when the doctor came in and completed the exam. The doctor spent a considerable amount of time answering all my questions, (I had a lot of them!) and then spent time detailing resources and products I could seek out for further help. I thought the exam was a premier experience; but, when I met with the optical specialist I was again surprised by his enthusiasm and knowledge. He not only presented professionally, but, like the doctor, spent time walking me through the different types of frames and the options available. He patiently met again later with my wife and myself to further discuss the frame color. He was informative, which is good, but even better, he enjoys his job and his interactions with people, which makes the process fun and useful! Last of all, the front desk staff were friendly, helpful, courteous and in the end even helped me find the right frame color. (they all voted!). Although it was my first time there, I was as comfortable as if I had been utilizing their services for years. Very enjoyable experience, and would encourage others to try them out.

This place is ridiculous! My son broke his glasses, and I called and placed another order, 3 weeks later when I took my daughter in for an eye exam I checked to see if my sons glasses have arrived. "no not yet, should only be a few more weeks" So I call again a few weeks later and check, no still not in I see here they were placed on the 15th and right now it is taking 10-15 weeks to come in, they are really busy. Well no, I ordered them 3 weeks before the 15th, so your telling me they were never ordered the first time. Fine whatever, I will order through someone else. I get his prescription and there is no PD listed, oh we cant give you that information you will have to have whoever you are ordering through do it. Well I am ordering online, that wont work. Well you can come in pay $20 to have the PD measured....WAIT...WHAT?! the reason I am having to order from someone else is because of YOUR screw up, you were already paid to measure my childs PD when he got his exam and now you want me to pay YET AGAIN? No, I dont think so! I will never go to this place again, and thats 9 patients they just lost!

This place is a joke! The most unprofessional place I have ever been to hands down. They told me it would take 7-10 business days to get my glasses. Well its now going on 17 business days and still nothing. And I would not have even known whats going on if I didnt call myself and ask whats going on. They gave me the run around for weeks and their excuse is, it was the labs fault and memorial day. Well even so maybe a call to let me know whats going on would be great instead of me having to call you and ask where my stuff is that I payed almost 300 dollars for. Then they lie to my face when I ask for my money back and tell me I have to get my insurance to give it back. I call my insurance and they told me they have nothing to do with it, that century eye care needs give me my money back and negate it with the insurance. They are telling me I am getting my glasses tomorrow and depending on what happens if I get my money or glasses. BBB. They have done nothing other than lie and run me around while apologizing.

I have been going to Dr. Zelasko for over 10 years. His office staff has always been kind and informative. The office its self is clean and welcoming. With Dr. Zelasko I know that my eyes are being examined by one of the best Optometrists there is. I admit, I have tried a "box store" for the exam and two pairs of glasses for one low price. I never felt so disappointed in the professionalism and service. The old saying is right. You get what you pay for. With Dr. Zelasko I know that my eye care is in good hands. My last visit with him was as a private pay patient. Not only did he end up saving me money but he had my prescription right there in the office. I walked out of the office knowing that my eyes were in good health and I could see again.

A few years ago, I had an eye appointment with Dr. Zelasko. I was very pleased with my visit. I never forgot this eye appointment, and I have had many over the years. The staff were friendly, Dr. Zelasko is an excellent doctor, and he had state of the art equipment. I moved to Florida and even told people I knew there about this doctor. I moved back to Washington and I knew right way I wanted to go back to him for my eye care. I had a visit on Monday and my experience was just as excellent as it had been years ago. The technician did an excellent job also. I trust this doctor completely with my eye care. I would highly recommend him.

I typically have a very full schedule and find it difficult to make appointments for my eyes. I found myself with an unscheduled Saturday and Century Eye Care made certain to accommodate my last minute appointment request. As a first time patient to this clinic, I was very pleasantly surprised with the genuine friendliness and attention the staff provided. Dr. Scherer was also very pleasant and made sure to answer all of my questions and made appropriate recommendations for my particular eye health. I look forward to future visits!
