Approximately two weeks ago, I saw my family physician as I was experiencing a rash and extreme itching. Upon examination, he referred me to a dermatologist and also said to have two moles looked at. The referral was to Roseville Dermatology. I made an appointment to see Dr. Ha and drove the 30 miles to see him. I was actually seen by a Physician Assistant named Shannon (I believe but not sure of spelling). She was very efficient at removing both moles, but was impatient with me as it related to the rash, as she claimed that was not part of my doctors orders and I was having a tough time finding it since he had given me a prednisone prescription which seemed to be working fairly well. We also discussed her doing a more thorough look at moles at the next appointment which was in two weeks to remove the stitches. Earlier this week I emailed my doctor as the rash had once again returned and was very bothersome. He again indicated that I should have the dermatologist look at it and I shared with him the last trip and the fact that he needed to put it in his orders. He indicated he would do so.....when I showed up, I had some form of nursing or nursing assistant take me back into the room. She immediately told me that I was only scheduled for stitch removal and said I would have to come back again for the rash. I told her that I was not willing to do that as I lived quite a distance away. She said she would check with the PA to see if she could see me. So in comes Miss Congeniality again, takes out my stitch and reiterates the fact that my appointment is only for stitches. Doesnt ask about the rash, why its important to me that I have it looked at, how long has this been affecting me....just tells me how busy she is with two other patients in the adjoining rooms. In fairness and the spirit of full disclosure, she offers to look at the rash if Im willing to wait. I ask her how long, get a dirty look, ask is it going to be an hour, a half hour, or what??? She says begrudgingly probably 20 minutes and again reiterates how busy she is. I told her I didnt appreciate her "copping an attitude" and walked out, informing her of my intentions to put this review on Yelp. So Ive now suffered with a rash for two weeks, and have yet to have a dermatologist look at it. I find it appalling that a medical practitioner treats patients as though they are privileged to be seen and are disrespectful of their time. Perhaps she missed the "interpersonal Skills" class, however she certainly has a very high opinion of herself. I will never return to this practice or recommend it to anyone. Ive noticed there are a number of reviewers around multiple sites (Yahoo, Yelp, etc) quoting rude staff and doctors assistants. Good to know Im not the only one!

I have never experienced such a poor communication like this dermatology center ever. Doctors response and their consulting was really poor. They hardly spent only two minutes in each of our two visits. During our first visit, they asked us to do the blood work and we were waiting for three weeks to get a call after blood work. Finally i called this dermatology and they asked me to get the result again. Next day, they called me again and they said, they got the blood work result, surprising. We went for second consulting, again 2 minutes review and asked us to check with Vitamin Shopee without any medicine suggestion. Vitamin Shopee guys have no idea how much dosage need to give. Again poor communication, i never felt that they really cared us. if they are not ready to treat, they could tell us during our first visit, we will find a good dermatologist. I sent one message using their portal but they are telling that they called me on next day, but i didnt any call. Even they called, they dont have any courtesy that whether i received the message or not, COMPLETE CARELESSNESS. Finally we lost almost all the hair, now they are asking to contact my Primary doctor, that too, after i called them to discuss about bill. The only thing they are doing perfectly is sending bills every month which i paid long back. If you want good treatment, i strongly advice "Not to visit this center" . To submit this post, i was forced to select one star, otherwise, it is no worth to give even this one star.

Dr. Ha is experienced and able to help. Dr. Shannon is also polite, but the skin care treatment that she provided did not work (may just be my skin is different). However, I went in three more times, because the doctor asked me too. Promising that she would fix it, but never did. Whenever I visited, Dr. Shannon promised I wouldnt be charged, but bills would show up anyways. Paying hundreds of dollars already and the treatments not working, I had to contact the billing department to ask why. They were rude just like receptionists who have time to talk with other staff members before checking you in. 2 stars because the doctors are at least professional, but to improve this establishment might need to hire a consultant to train staff on their social skills. I chose to ignore the first and second time I was disappointed, but three times deserves a negative review.

I completely disagree with the reviewer who was upset about having to make a long drive... Sounds to me as though he copped an attitude first, to which they were probably just reacting (not their fault he has such a long drive - and not realistic to expect to add unexpected/additional services EACH time they visit a certain doctors office... Their time is important, too). Sounds like he should have taken the issue up with his own doctor - the one who hadnt submitted the proper info/orders in the first place. I have been going to Roseville Dermatology for over 6 years now and have been nothing but THRILLED with the staff there. Carly, Jen, Katie, Shannon, etc. have always been incredibly personable and have provided nothing but the best care. I recommend them all the time, and will continue doing so!

I purchased a lip and chin laser removal for $720...they saw my pigment and said it was fine to do a all over face treatment costing me $480 more. The treatment on my pigment intensified and left scabs and having to hide out for a week plus...NOT HAPPY. I did call them and notify what happen. They seemed concerned. Because of the outcome I asked to be refunded for that additional $480 and continue the lip and chin. Come to find out today, they just are refunded me $230...they said I had a full treatment and charging mye$250...EVEN THOUGH IT WAS NOT A SUCCESS. I am taking it to higher management Wish me luck....I will continue on this review and let you know of the outcome...

i have always had excellent service and care at Roseville Dermatology. I have never experienced rude staff and Shannon has always taken care and concern when checking me for skin cancer. I trust her judgement and she has never let me down. I just called for an appointment as I am concerned about another growth on my leg and the girl on the phone was so polite and willing to help me in any way she could. I have been going here for a few years now and I appreciate all they do for me! Thank you!
