Im so sad people have had such frustrations! Ive been there, done that so much the last couple years and just cant stand the myriad of completely different proposed issues each visit. I went to a neuro doc at the request of a doc treating my hand at the time. The neuro just asked why we were here....uh my dr told me too? He said there are no issues for him...thanks for coming. Less than 5 minutes in, $600 bill and 4 weeks for him to get them a report. My current pain doc tells me something different every visit! You have my total empathy!!! I had been battling severe nerve pain with the help of a wonderful compounded cream my doctor prescribes to try to stop this nerve down my arm through to tops of my fingers. The part I went to dermatologists for was a severe rash/burn on wrist and on top of my damaged hand that started the about 6 weeks, when I tried the new compounded cream sample. My doctor had asked if I would try a sample he just got in. It was local vs my current one in Alabama that he had started me on some months ago. So per docs request I gave the sample a try. It was really uncomfortable!I I gave this new company a call about it. Come to find out...their guess was that it had menthyl in it! This felt about the same as rubbing bengay onto bare nerves. That would certainly irritate those nerves! These types of samples are mostly for muscle, tendon kinds of things not nerve problems. The pharmacy I have been using and just love, didnt have any menthyl in its base. Explains why the other I had been using was so much calmer! Knowing the probable cause doesnt help me fix it though. She (Alissa -dermatology) looked at and told me right off that it looked like a chemical / allergy burn and I would agree with that. It happened six weeks ago from that sample. Its been frustrating because any burning/itching/spasms of the hand type of things just escalates the pain issues. Sorry for such a long story bit! So anyway, she gave me a prescription. 4 days out - dramatically improving. I was so impressed and pleased with the complete experience. Not that it really matters but... office was decorated beautifully. Considering how many docs and such Ive seen, I would say it ranks 1st from walking in the door through the great results Im getting from it. Ive already made an appointment for my son on something he needs checked! Ill try to remember to post again if my opinion changes tomorrow after his visit. I havet met Dr. Forsha, but his PA rocks! **By the way, anyone needing a compounded cream should really try Optimal Pain Control. They have been so such a help to me! This medication is outrageously expensive but still 2/3 less than the one my doc had asked me to try with same ingredients $650 versus $2,000 and I need 3 a month! OPS even waives my co-pay. *

I have a rare condition in which primarily impacts my skin. In the past 2 years since the initial onset of my rare and devastating medical condition, I have seen COUNTLESS of medical providers, including COUNTLESS dermatologists, both in-and-outside of the state of Utah. It has been a long and painful journey, to say the least. Most physicians I have seen, seem only interested in doing the bare minimum, not wanting to take the time to engage in ANY amount of research (about the condition or ways to best try and gain some level of control over the condition, etc.); further, most physicians in which I have seen over the past two years, seem entirely uninterested in truly listening to the needs and concerns of the patient. HOWEVER... I am writing this review because I hold nothing short of ample amounts of gratitude towards Dr. Forsha for being the exception to the countless other providers I have seen throughout this difficult rare disease medical journey. Dr. Forsha is wholeheartedly, a truly dedicated, exceptional, and compassionate provider. Words alone could not possibly begin to express the amount of gratitude I hold for all that Dr. Forsha has done and continues to do for me, medically speaking. Dr. Forsha is truly caring about the needs of his patients and his dedicated in helping patients find proactive answers to treating their medical symptoms, versus just brushing patients aside because the patients symptoms may seem too complex or seem as though they may take too much work to have to try and help the patient manage. The bottom line is, I didnt ask to get sick with something so terribly medically rare, complex and daunting, however, Dr. Forsha has given me a solid amount of hope back to my life. He has helped me continue to research every possible medical option to gaining control back over my rare disease, all in hopes that someday I may have my life and health back once again. Thank you with all my heart, L.H.

i would recommend this office Bc you can get a pretty quick appointment, its clean and overall the drs are nice. However I did recently have a not good experience and kinda need the floor to vent Bc I dont understand why it went that way. dr F has been seeing me for a cyst on my face, its very swollen and something Ive been dealing with on and off for ten years. So while Im on antibiotics and accutane I could tell it isnt gonna budge and scheduled a quick appointment with dr b.. his nurse, I love her she is so caring, but he was very very quick. He asked his nurse for "the biggest needle they had" & without much comfort, Warning or anesthesia....... BAM! Drained the cyst... he also didnt use an antiseptic to clean the area before draining which is something other drs have always done. It was literally worse than child birth without a local anestheisa (which other derms have also always used), if it wasnt for the nurse who told me to take some pain meds after going home and actually told me when to breath while he was doing it, I would have honestly not gotten much guidance through the procedure. It was exceuciatingly painful and I know patients might be annoying when they are dealing with something so obvious, painful and embarrassing but a little bed side manor goes a long way. Dr. fs nurse never cracks a smile and I honestly feel is so tired of seeing me... anyways, I will schedule with dr F in the future & just wish it didnt have to go that way. Oh and lol right after dr B goes "you might have to come back in a week or two for me to do that again" - literally while Im still shaking from the pain Im in :/ I do like their office, but felt that needed a review bc it shouldnt have gone that way... after all I am a paying patient.

If you have insurance and expect them to pay for your prescriptions, DO NOT go here! I brought my daughter here primarily because of the location. One can get tired of always driving to Salt Lake for everything. The lady on the phone was friendly, though slightly dismissive of insurance questions that I had. I wasnt too concerned as I assumed that she was either busy or just wasnt sure. We arrived at the appointment on time and waited in the waiting room for 65 minutes. (I had already paid the copay on my debit card, otherwise we would have left earlier.) I was just about to ask for a refund when they took us back. We only waited in the examination room for 15 minutes or so when the doctor came in. She is very nice, but she never even looked closely at my daughters skin. She immediately started giving out a handful of pre-written prescriptions. None of this was completely unheard of. Some doctors just dont care as much as others. It wasnt until I went to pick up her prescriptions that I realized what a racket the whole place is! The pharmacist told me that, even with the "coupons" they gave me, the cost would be around $150 each. The antibiotics are $800 a month! And my insurance, like most, requires a pre-approval from the doctor. This is something that they can handle in a matter of minutes. But these guys wont do it. They ignored all of my calls and all of the faxes from the pharmacy. I left several messages and never heard back. These people are all about the money and dont seem to care at all about the patients. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
