About 7 weeks ago I rescued a throw away kitten, so young it needed bottle feeding. (given name of Loki) Loki caught a cold, so today (9/13/16) I walked in without an appointment. Seated in the reception chair was a handsome white haired gentleman wearing a white Doctors coat. Framed by an open reception window he really did look like a "Norman Rockwell Portrait." With confident posture he greeted me warmly, speaking calm assurance regarding Loki, they bonded instantly! I felt blessed to be in the right place. After a simple examination using his obvious expertise, Dr Ibrahim diagnosed Loki with a simple sinus infection, which could be treated with nose drops and a course of antibiotic. Prognosis good! This amazing Doctor even referred me to a place with lower vaccine and sterilization procedure rates for Loki (when hes recovered and old enough) and the 4 other rescues I have. When I offered my business card, he graciously accepted, then told me I could post my business flyer in his reception area for others to see. What a lovely caring soul this Doctor has. ( I didnt mention that one of my dreams is to have an animal ranch and adoption center) In a world seemingly out of control, how hopeful it is to see that simple amazing grace can still exist in us. Everyone should go and experience this; A beautiful step back in time! Thank you Dr Ibrahim, You are indeed The Best!!

Dr Ibrahim is a wonderful vet. He is totally old school: he doesnt have a bunch of fancy equipment, or a pristine office, or 5 teenage vet techs gossiping behind the counter -- and he doesnt make you pay for all that stuff, either. Hes an old-fashioned, hands-on, animal-loving old gent who will try to do everything he can for both the animal and the owner. He does a lot of his own lab work instead of sending it out -- which keeps many of his bills down to a fraction of what you would pay elsewhere. Dr Ibrahim makes medical care available to many pets whose owners would otherwise not be able to afford it, and he does everything he can to work within your budget for the benefit of your pet -- which includes telling you the truth about your pets prognosis, the various options open to you and the risks and costs of each. All my animals have loved him -- and so do I. Visiting Dr Ibrahim is like walking into a Norman Rockwell painting: alas, they just dont make vets like him any more!

I usually go to Midtown Animal Hospital but they were closed Christmas Eve & my dogs ear was really bothering her so I took her to see Dr. Ebrahim. He was old school, taking notes on index cards & sliding my credit card on a cc tray but he cleaned out my dogs ear, checked the residue for mites under the microscope, & gave her some antifungal cream to get rid of the yeast infection. He definitely took his time. If you are sensitive about your pet being in pain, he may not be the most careful. The vet at midtown cleaned her ears without a wimper but when he cleaned her ear with cotton on forceps & later looked down her ear she wimpered like I havent heard before. Im chalking it up to the infection being more painful than when we went to midtown.

We have been going to Dr. Ibrahim for at least 45 years and I tell you he is family to us. He has been there for all my animals and continues to be there for them. Yes he has helped some to the Rainbow Bridge and has mourned with us. He is the best and I deeply dread the day he tells me he is closing. I feel that will come sooner than later. All I know is that Dr. Ibrahim is sent from God and like his plaque says in the exam room "They cant tell you where it hurts you just have to know " and you can bet he knows. Love him so much and so do my fur babies.

I just took my child (dog) to Dr. Ibrahim for the first time. I was trying to diagnose and treat on my own because I have never been to a veterinary where no matter what the problem was the payment was always 300.00 plus.... within a minute he told me what was wrong, gave me the meds, and only charged me 55.00. Whew I can breathe again! Its not that he wont do blood draws and lab works. only when necessary to keep costs down for parents(animal owners) He has my business for life!

Very gracious Veterinarian; much lower cost on all services compared to other Vets in the Sacramento area. I took my cat here after getting quoted $1800.00 at Freeport Veterinary Hospital. There was no way in hell I could afford that. Distraught after my cat was hit by a truck the great Dr. only charged me $550.00. He definitely has my business and my precious Mayzies life in his hands indefinitely.

Cat Owner: Cat had a mild abscess on his cheek that became infected. Vet was very knowledgable and quirky that calmed us down about the infection. Prescribed meds and treated him there as well. Very satisfied. Very well priced as far as vets in Sacramento go. Office could use some updating but the service was great.

I took my Sons dog to the Doc, an old (about 15) Bassett/Beagel mix. He not only took care of the dog in a short time, but he was caring, understanding and personable. I live down the street, and from now on, this is where I will spend my money for my pets! BTW, the visit was less than $100 to boot. Thanks Doc!
