Let me begin by saying we have been a customer of Natomas Veterinary Hospital since 2007. Every time Dr. Kirsh has treated both us and our dog, Roxy, with respect, like family, professional, and always willing to explain in detail, when asked, root causes and practical solutions/treatments. Our dog had skin cancer, which she quickly diagnosed and remedied many years ago. Dr Kirsh and her staff have been exquisite and always "love" on our dog Roxy. Recently Roxy suddenly went into cardiac arrest. I called the vet en route to the hospital before their typical operating hours. Her entire staff was ready within minutes (like two minutes), table and medicine prepped, easy ingress before I arrived, and immediately worked on her upon arrival before business hours. Unfortunately Roxy could not be revived but I sincerely felt the team at Natomas Veterinary Hospital did everything possible to save her. Dr. Kirshs compassion immediately afterwards and the services she provided to take care of her remains far, far surpassed my expectations, including a grief card signed with personal messages from Dr.Kirsh and the entire staff! Let me assure you I am very particular and have no reservations about the team, attitude, and professionalism at Natomas Veterinary Hospital. Their team continues to exceed my expectations. I would easily recommend Natomas Veterinary Hospital.

I wanted to share my experience. This place is very expensive, but so are most Natomas Vet offices. They can be friendly and they can be rude. I use to go there in spite of this with my puppy. One day she got out because a babysitter let her out when the gate was open. I was so depressed I looked for her very hard. When I received a call from someone who had seen my flyer, I was surprised to find that the person who took my dog had gone to Natomas Vet clinic, our vet who we had seen less than a month before, to check for a microchip. When I called the vet clinic to get any information they said there was no way it could be my dog because it was too big. After I described the collar etc. and told them duh, "shes a puppy they grow!", they finally realized they had let my puppy go out the door with a stranger who verbally told the receptionist they were going to keep it because the owner should have microchipped the dog. The ironic thing was I was going to get them microchipped the following month with that vet and the vet knew that! So not only is this place rude, overpriced, but they dont even know who there clients are. And let me tell you they were not helpful in getting my Pure bred German Shepherd back. I did get her back, needless to say I switched vets to someone who would know me when they saw me and my baby.

We have been taking our dog to Dr. Kirsch and the Natomas Veterinary Hospital for the past 8 years. Dr. Kirsch and the staff are amazing! They are professional yet incredibly affectionate and caring for the animals that they see. I have always appreciated the way they balance their treatment suggestions with consideration for the pet and owner needs. Having recently lost our dog, I would also like to comment on the care and complete compassion the entire staff showed for us and for our dog. They went above and beyond a typical veterinary service, sending us a card with personalized messages from each staff member as well as keepsakes to help us remember the sweet girl we lost. It is clear that the staff have a genuine love of animals that complements their training/education and enhances their ability to provide the best possible care and service for our pets.

I have taken my cat to several vets in the natomas area and this is, by far, the best one. I took my cat here to get a second opinion for a presistent cough that my last vet failed to diagnose. They were thorough and recommended the right tests that revealed the problem. They were also prompt with the call backs when test results came in, which let me start treatment within 24 hrs of diagnosis. They returned calls when I asked for a call back because I had more questions. Whats more impressive is the call back was done by a different vet the next day because my vet was out that day. I recommend getting to the vet office ay least 15 mins before check-in, especially on Sat., as sometimes they get busy and then check-in gets delayed and you may lose appt time or have a rushed visit.

I love the doctors at Natomas Veterinary Hospital. The doctors and the staff are amazing and truly care about your animals. We travel back and forth between Hawaii and California with our two dogs and that can be tricky. If you do not cross every "T" and dot every "I" the State of Hawaii wil quarantine your animal at your expense. Natomas Vet knows the drill and we have never had a problem. Would not blink and eye to give them 5 stars for their care.

I found the front office and vet techs to be very nice. My dog was diagnosed w/ Mange and given a treatment plan that was over 3x more expensive than every other vet I spoke w/ in town. Ontop of the price being higher, they wanted to see my dog more frequently then was needed per the other vets as well. Make sure you ask questions and get a 2nd opinion before taking advice given here or theyll take your money.

Dr. Cheng is absolutely the best. My Zoey just loves her and rightfully so, Dr. Cheng saved her life. All the doctors there are just wonderful and they all helped save my Zoey. I drove from Roseville to go to Natomas Vet and if I still lived there I would drive that far. I had to move and I am sad that we had to leave them but at least I knew that when my Zoey got sick they were there for her.

Dr. Cheng had provided the absolute best care weve ever received with any animal. The time she spent examining or dog was kind and gentle. She was thoughtful in discussing treatment options that reflected our families values. The entire staff was friendly, hard-working and professional! HIGHLY recommend this hospital!

We have gone to this vet for 25 years for our Goldens. When I called the vet to get an estimate for a female feral cat, they estimated about $400, this is NOT a community vet, I am very disappointed, support vets that help the feral cat issue and have clinics.

Dr. Kirsch is wonderful and caring. I just hate calling to make an appointment, because you dont know how you are going to be treated by the front office staff. Some are very nice, others are very rude. If that were fixed, it would be a great place to go.
