My niece had baby at this hospital, nurse in the nurses station was rude, my entire families "FIRST" impression was not good, what is the point of being a nurse if you cant deal with people, why go school and take a job where you are going to be dealing with the public, (dont they get trained on how to deal with the public) when families are visiting the hospital normally there are three types of people who come in as visitors, people who are hurting or sad, people who are hopeful about a prognosis or joyful about a new life, not sure what was wrong with her IF she was having a bad day, however her attitude and demeanor were unprofessional , the rest of the staff have been nothing but awesome, and it is sad to give it a one star review, but it is true people remember first impressions. Update: I went on to the hospitals website and put in a complaint and to my surprise within 2 hours I received a call from the Hospital Administrator, she wanted to talk about our experience she was very apologetic and appreciative that I took the time to let them know of our experience, she was sincere and said they cannot address situations if they dont know about them, she also mentioned she was going to go speak to my niece as well, which she did and they felt the same way I did that she was genuinely concerned and was going to make sure that she did everything in her power to see that patients and visitors alike dont walk out of their hospital experience feeling the way we felt. I was very happy for the phone call and really showed me if we dont speak up or let someone know how will we ever see change. Today when I walked in to visit my niece the atmosphere was different, the nurse that was rude was not there but everyone was beyond nice and my niece 100% agrees.

I came to this hospital around 12 midnight 02/07/16. The reason for being there. Was that I have sickle cell and was in a serious pain crisis. due to them seeing other patients faking to get prescribed pain medicine they wrote me off and assumed I was the same as every other patient. So from 12 till 3:40 in the morning I waited in the lobby that seemed not to be very busy as Ive lived in much bigger cities with bigger crowds I felt so uncared for like I was a number not a patient or someone with a chronic illness. On to the security very rude over abusive with their power babies constantly crying with no one even attempting to attend to them. Bathrooms were filthy and the staff looked as if theyd rather be somewhere else on Saturday night. The only time I saw these people smile was when they were having conversations with eachother not once did I feel as if anyone cared. At around 3:45 me being from Los Angeles I left community hospital and drove 50 minutes to childrens hospital LA where I still attend despite being 26. The waiting room at chla was 12x as full as community but after I checked in I was in the back within 5 minutes. Because they understood what I was going thru. Im sorry but I could not go without reviewing this atrocious experience I had at my local hospital. And it is very sad I had to drive 67 miles in pain to be tooken care of properly. Hope you guys understand every patient is not the same.

This is my most sincere rating for this hospital. I came to This hospital pregnant and unable to see another dr. Because my previous care provider dropped me at 8months. The day I came in I was having contractions. The dr in charge in Labor and and delivery was so kind, he told me that they would be more than happy to continue monitoring me and my baby. I Was Scheduled the following 3 weeks to come in and have my self and my baby monitored before my scheduled C-section. The day of, I came in was prepped the nurses were truly friendly, and the dr. As well. I can say the best care was after my C-Section when I went in to Recover the nurses were also very helpful, friendly and curteous. And when I was finally taken to my room Where I would stay for the remainder of the time the nurses who took care of me And nursed me back to health were the kindest sweetest and attentive nurses ever!!! Thank You Ayesha , Lisa and Kim! For your help in taking care of me and my baby. We will be forever grateful! Everything you ladies did for us was truly appreciated did not go unnoticed!!! The best care ever! The best experience! I felt like an actual human being attended and not out of place. The best experience . I would Recommend this hospital to anyone who is delivering you will be taken good care of

My wife was admitted into the ER room within 20 minutes of arriving. After what seemed like an eternity she was diagnosed with appendicitis. The RN and doctors were very helpful considering the fact that the Emergency Room was completely full, they managed to place us in priority due to her circumstances. The only downfall was that the front desk wasnt very helpful in getting me to my wifes room once she was admitted (I had to text her and find out which room she was in, no biggie) I had to figure things out on my own. I dont want anyone to misconstrue this as a negative review, the time it took them to diagnose her was pertinent for the doctors in making a well thought out decision and the time it took for her to get diagnosed simply means that they were doing there job while keeping my wife at a comfortable state. Monetary compensations were never an issue and were set aside which made me and my wife feel at ease (im sure I will be billed later) but nevertheless I found that the overall service that this hospital provided was terrific and would return again if the need ever came. My wife is now home and is expected to make a speedy recovery, Thanks Community Hospital of San Bernardino
