If you love marine mammals, you definetrly must go there. Those folks take great care of orphan, injured starving seals and sea lions.and nurse them back to health. If youre having a bad day, go visit this place. Take a seat and watch those amazing animals in action.Your troubles will melt away. If youre lucky you might witness some of them being released, that will definetrly make your day. :)♡♡♡

Such an amazing place to visit. My husband and i stopped by to see what it was all about. i never new they did so much for sea life. They help those poor animals and ghe best part is they realease them to the wild and if they cant go back they make sure do the best they can to give them a better home. Hats off to the employees and volunteers.

This facility is doing THE BIG WORK of advocacy, care, and rehab for vulnerable animals, and they have so many great programs and collaborations with ither local groups to educate and involve our community in environmental issues. A real cultural as well as practical asset for our maritime community.

Seal and sea lion pups being nursed back to health so that they can be returned to the wild... whats not to love? Volunteers are friendly and knowledgeable and will gladly answer questions when they arent tending to the animals. And its free, altho donations are appreciated.

The mission of the MMC is to rehabilitate pinnapeds whims they convalesce during their recovery from injury and return them to their native habitat -a most noble endeavor and I highly encourage everyone to contribute to their mission.
