I have been going to Sunland Pet Medical Center for almost 12 years now. I had my previous dog and my current dog go here because of the service. Im surprised to see negative remarks about the receptionists, because they have been always friendly, especially Kat, Jaime, etc. There might be a couple others who may not be AS friendly, but theyve all been polite nevertheless. Ok...onto the actual doctors. I live in Westchester, near LAX, but I go all the way to Sunland (almost 30+ miles away) because Ive always been happy with the process. The doctors have always answered my questions and explained to me in full what the next step may be. Im sure people have different experiences, but mine, for over the past decade, have been positive. I am comfortable there, and there are different doctors to give you an alternate route to just traditional medicine. I have a Westie that has a skin allergy, and instead of just giving him drugs for the rest of his life, Dr. Lavely offered some advice on alternative medicine, such as acupuncture and herbal remedies. Its good to know that there are multiple options for a symptom.

I have been going here for years, and I would not think of changing. The Doctors and the staff are great. They are warm and friendly and take the time to get to know your pet. I have never received anything but the utmost care and professionalism. As stressful as it is for your pet, mine has felt comfortable there, which says alot. I cant say enough about Dr. Lavely and her staff.

Only good things to say Excellent care from Dr. Lavely and the staff @ the Pet Medical Center Sunland. Our two 8-year-old French Mastiffs (Rusty & Hurley) are very well taken care of at this facility. Jaime is always wonderful with our pets, thanks. I agree with you that the receptionist, Kat, isnt very friendly. She has warmed up a little the past few times I have been there. As far as the cost, it seems to me its the same as anywhere else. I do really like Dr. Miller. He knows his job quite well! The assistant (hispanic guy you mentioned) is great too, he is always nice and helpful.

Dr Miller and Dr Lavely have been the best vets! Love Jaime and Kat too! The place is kept tidy and they are very compassionate! Ive used them for years with many pets! Our dogs love them all there!
