This hospital does not deserve 1 star. I stayed in the Behavioral Health Unit for 8 days. In those 8 days, I got almost no care. I wish I didnt have to write this review, but I want people to know what theyre getting into. This is an acute care facility. You will be deemed stable once you take your pills and act "normal." There is no therapy. There is no professional you can really talk to. The staff under the RNs are usually rude. A lot of them talk about patients behind their backs, but in front of other patients. They need to take it to the break room. Youre lucky if you can get the nurse in charge of you to talk to you for more than 5 minutes. The psychiatrists go off a script: How are you today? Do you have any questions? I tried to have a conversation with one of the psychiatrists, but all he tried to do was to push me to start some sort of medication (without knowing anything of my medical history). Once I asked to be transferred, he told me we were done here and walked off. After that he tried to gaslight me every time he saw me. Many other patients confided in me that they did not like the way he interacted with them. I had almost all my medication nurses argue with me when I declined the medication. It is my right to decline medication, especially when a medication was hastily chosen. After the 3 day hold, I was put on a 14 day hold, and was never informed. Apart from not being informed that I was on a 14 day hold, it took them 5 days to let see a judge. I have a right to see a judge in 4 days or less. All the Behavioral Health Unit does is glorified babysitting. They made feel incompetent and worthless. The day after I got discharged, I contemplated killing myself with the prescription they gave me for the daft medication they tried to make me take. Luckily, I have one person who kept me from making that choice. I told them I wasnt okay, but it fell on deaf ears. If you need real psychiatric care do not go here or let a loved one go here. This is not the place.

La peor experiencia de mi vida. Mi mama fallecio ahi hace 4 años. Testigos miraron como las enfermeras o ayudantes la dejaron desayunando sola, aun cuando ella no podia ni cargar la cuchara y se hecho el cafe encima. Las enfermeras la dejaron con sus manos hinchadas y con las ivs tapadas. Yo tenia que andarlas presionando para que le cambiaran la ahujas y para que le dieran de comer. Los estudios ordenados por el doctor a las 2 de la tarde aun no se los habian hecho a las 8 de la noche, Los tecnicos que hacen el dialisis andan pidiendo toallas a las enfermeras. Los botes de basura llenos de basura, la informacion el el pizarron no es actualizada. Lastima que me atonte y no llame a los inspectores cuando debia. De verdad que se han salvado de que lo cierren. LO PEOR.

This Hospital has been a very good Hospital for me and my family. I dont know why you would judge a whole hospital based on one person. I just had my son born there yesterday morning and I love the way theyve been treating my wife and son. This hospital even gives you (The Dad) a bed for you to sleep with your wife and newborn. The nurses are excellent!!! They are very lovely with your wife and child!!! R.N. Ariya Adams is such a sweetheart, a knowledgeable, and a caring person with everyone. I really thank her so much for all the services and attention, also Ms. Venus, and Dr. Oro who is a kind lady as well. Over all, this hospital has gotten my respect it and its staff. Dont get fooled by dumb reviews and miss out on the good care and services. I recommend you this hospital and give you my word that you wont regret it!!! Martin.

A FREAKING DUMP!! This Hospital staff is by far the WORST!! I have ever encountered. The staff can barley speak English and understands even less. It took over a half hour to get a call connected to speak to my family member. on a few occasions I was told she had been discharged!! How can this hospital stay opened with so many Lawsuits past and present?? The level of incompetency of the staff is CRIMINAL!!. I will never again let my family member be taken there for care. Please check all the blogs regarding this hospitals Lawsuits for patient endangerment, Dumping and lack of care.Many millions have been paid out by this hospital for lawsuits, DO NOT let your family be next!!! Just sorry that a NEGATIVE 5 star rating is not presented here. Take care, BEWARE!!

i arrived with a high fever and a was feeling very ill. I checked in at the front desk, around 6:00 p.m. and it was 10:30 and I HAD NOT seen a nurse or doctor. By far a very bad experience on the ER section. I would not recommend anyone go here unless the paramedics take you in. After the constant complain the nurse checked me and then i had to wait another hour, finally i left. They are now charging me for the doctors visit with out doing absolute crap. BY FAR THE WORSE EXPERIENCE IVE HAD AT ANY ER..... GO SOME WHERE ELSE to get treatment since they will charge you regardless.

I went to the emergency at 3 am, and today at 7 am, I asked the nurse (Laura) how long it could take to check my test results, and she answered me, she didnt know and she didnt do anything for help, and gave me, with attitude, the option to leave. She was really rude and when I called to make a complain, the last person in the line, cut off the communication. Very disappointed.

Posting as Jen. Over 12 hours and Im not sure there was even a physician present the entire time. I know I never saw one. Place is filthy. Seriously filthy. The nurse was good Ronaldo and Ivan was very helpful. Granted I was I no place to judge but you expect levels of cleanliness and not garbage cans overflowing. Im curious if jcaho inspects!?

My mom is here in sub acute care, the staff is friendly and informative. I am able to speak with a primary physician within minutes of my arrival. Her room is clean with private bathroom and flat screen TV. Her nurse is very attentive to her needs. When I arrive and leave my mother is clean and resting comfortably.

My 27 year old son died on 9/14/13 12 hours after he was admitted. They claimed he had sepsis & pneumonia. I often wondered if they just left him laying they because he had no insurance. And they never notifed me. Dont go there unlrss you dont want to come out!!

Horrible horrible emergency service! My pregnant family member has been there twice, got there at 4 am for severe bleeding and got attended at 8am and they had her laid down until 5pm. And only gave her Tylenol! Awful place! Dont go.

My mom has been at this hospital for 6 hours waiting for a doctor to give her medication. Her head was hurting like crazy and throwing up nonstop and they didnt even give her anything just for her to go buy some tylenol
