Dr Galvan was awesome! Me and my son went in for a chk up and he explained everything in detail and made sure we understood everything. When i got there i seen him in the lobby with a couple explaining everything to them too. Hes patient and caring and takes his time. Im ok with waiting to see him if hes behind schedule bc i know hes going to do the same for me and my family. My eldest son went the next day bc i mentioned he didnt have insurance and he said he would do the examination for free. I definitely would recommend him. The selection on glasses is not bad. But u can always take the prescription wherever you want. Thumbs up

I have been coming here for over 15 years. I keep coming back every year because the all the Doctors Galvan (Mark, Brent, Candice) are professional and knowledgeable. When you have poor vision, being able to see is so important. The custom contacts recommended by Dr. Galvan are of superb quality and I can see 20/20 (better than my glasses). You get what you pay for. Pay for quality and you will be satisfied. Dennis the optician works with you to find what fits your personality and lifestyle.

Hes up on whatever the latest is on eye care, he takes the time to listen to the numerous questions I tend to have for him and he has an answer for just about anything! Dr. Galvan has been my entire familys optometrist since I was a youngster. I have complete trust that Dr Galvan will always have the latest info on anything related to my familys eye care needs. My daughter hates to see any doctor other than Dr Galvan. He has the most fascinating stories to tell her each visit. She looks forward to her eye exams!

He is informative, intelligent, and all around a genuine man who has a great staff working for him. Myra, the main office assistant is very kind and helpful and can answer any questions you have. I only give one star because thats the lowest it goes. I would not recommend this place to anybody!!! There is no selection in frames and the few there is, is way over priced. The receptionist is rude, Dr Galvan is arrogant. His time is more important because he is never on time for appointments. Im my opinion, cancel!

Got my new glasses They are top notch quality. They are replacing a pair I got from one of those big box superstores. With these glasses I can use my computer at night without my eyes wigging out. I bought the regular bifocal with glare protection. What a difference! Also they are RayBan so they look cool.

I saw Dr Candice and she was excellent. She was professional and very friendly. I had a recurring eye condition and she she identified the issue and solved it right away. Its never come back after following her advice. I needed new glasses and they had a large selection to choose from. Highly recommended.

Our family experience with Dr. Galvan was wonderful. She was friendly, patient and polite. The place is located in uptown Whittier. Parking is plentiful and the staff is helpful. The place could use a remodel but otherwise very clean and well maintained.
