Ive been going to Aurora Family Practice for over 20 years. Lately, the office staff has become impersonal, uninformed and they treat you like a number, not a person. They have failed to meet my expectations on several occasions in the past year and I am through with them. My latest visit (today) left me pissed off. I asked Dr. Sarka for a letter to provide to a third party that stated I was not a drug user. They asked me to come in for an appointment (for which could charge me) even though I was just there 2 months ago for my annual physical. They asked me to fill out all the paperwork AGAIN and asked for my co-pay and insurance -- all for a stupid letter. Youd think after 23 years, I would have a personal relationship with a doctor that could write a 1 paragraph letter in 5 minutes without all the red tape and bureaucracy. This follows 2 other appointments where Dr. Sarka failed to adequately address my other issues and dismissed my concerns. It seems like youre just another number, a claim, a statistic and a file of information rather than a human being. Im done with these people.

The only reason they get one star is because I was forced too. I have been coming here for FIVE years. My last visit, they required me to pay my entire visit up front before running it through insurance. In five years that has NEVER been the case. I refused to pay it. They can bill me. I got the bill and it was less than they were going to charge me. I paid it immediately, like I always have done for five years. I called today to schedule my annual exam, which is free because it is preventative care. They told me if I needed to talk about anything else, it is $149 per discussion we have previously before your annual. So, they were telling me that if I wanted to discuss anything other than my annual, it is $149 per thing. My inhaler, which they only gave me a 6 month script for last year, which Ive had for at least 10 years, I have to be charged $149 to have her call in the REST of the year script. They are crooks. DO NOT GO THERE. I am so sad because I loved my doctor.

Dr. Hannemann is the best doctor Ive ever had. He always makes plenty of time for me and I trust him completely. He is a good listener and it seems he always makes decision in my best interest. He helps me to understand my health problems and his recommendations. The office environment is also nice and I never have trouble getting an appointment. I would definitely recommend Dr. Hannemann to a friend. In fact, I frequently do!

Ive been there for several years and over the last two years, they have dropped the ball on several occasions! Because of this, I didnt have referrals when I needed them. Dr. Ravdel nor office staff would not communicate with any of my other providers! There was no teamwork there! I was sick with an autoimmune disease and they made it worse!

My wife and I have had Dr Hannemann for many years and even after moving to Colorado Spring We have keep him as our primary doctor even though it is a long drive he is worth the drive he is the best doctor we have known. There is not a high enough category to rate the quality of service.
