Recently spent my second visit with my new kitten at this vet. After charging me for an emergency visit, which was just a normal appointment made the day prior, they proceeded to get an x-ray to figure what I told them, that hes constipated and hasnt pooped in 5 days, since the last visit I was with them. They gave him an enema and a couple other treatments. After this was done, the vet did not come and see me again. The nurse gave me back my kitten and asked me if the doctor had talked to me. I had to sit and try to talk about what had happened when we came in before and had to be the person asking if theres any correlation between his constipation and the infection prior. The nurse seemed very unsure and it was at that moment I realized the vet had charged me 350$ to run an x-ray, to tell me exactly what I told her, and then to do an enema. She did not talk to me about what could be the issue. She did not talk to me about his recovery, will the enema help his constipation? Should I still be giving him His anti biotics? How long should I wait till I get worried about him not pooping again? Should I be looking out for anything in particular? These are all questions I had to ask the nurse and all questions the nurse could not answer accurately. This is a nice vet, nice building, friendly people, unfortunately the vet was not concerned with healing or diagnosing my kitten And charged me premiums on top of it. I expect care and concern with my vet or atleast for them to inform me on whats happening with my 2month old sickly kitten whose being taken in for the second time. In response to their response. I appreciate the quick time they fit us in for. I do believe I was left uninformed as to what to expect going forward as I had been before when he was prescribed bacterial infection medications. in fact I was just told if it continues brig him to a brain scan facility. This is not OK. I believe some handout related to the animals condition would be helpful. A printout of symptoms signs theyre getting better and ofwhat to look out for would go a long way. I appreciate the doctor coming in to discuss the kitten in follow up visits after treatment.

BEST VET EVER!! Dr. Weldon and her crew truly care about the animals and their people. They wont just vaccinate without an exam because of the potential harm a vaccine can do if the animal has an illness the owner has not detected. They know the dangers of gum disease and the havoc it can cause with the entire body if left untreated, so they go above and beyond to educate and treat dental disease. The bloodwork is absolutely necessary to get a baseline and early detection of illness and disease. If you want what is best for your animal, you want Dr. Weldons team working with you as a partner. I have taken my own dogs to Dr. Weldon for 2 years now and the majority of the dogs rescued by Rocky Mountain Cocker Rescue see her first before they go to foster homes. Dr. Weldon has accurately diagnosed both chronic and acute issues that other vets have missed or misdiagnosed. One dog was treated for over a year at another vet for recurring skin issues before he was taken to Dr. Weldon who immediately diagnosed MRSA and was therefore able to properly treat the disease. Dr. Weldon goes above and beyond other vets (and Ive worked with a lot of vets all over the state because of the rescue work). If you just want cheap care for your animal, there are plenty of vets that offer it. However, if you want someone who will get to the bottom of an issue, detect issues early and give you options for treatment, then you want Dr. Weldon. You can take the cheap route and end up paying more down the road because of issues that blew up or you can do it right the first time. Your choice!

I went to Loving Family Animal Hospital because my cat was attacked by another animal. He was already dead, but he was my baby. I wanted to make sure I took him somewhere that would respect his remains and was not crazy expensive. I called several different locations knowing I wanted him cremated and his ashes returned to me. From the moment I called Loving Family they were incredibly respectful and remorseful for my loss. I told the lady on the phone I would call her back after I made a few other calls. She politely said that was not a problem and if I choose to go to them to bring him in at any time no appointment necessary. I ended up choosing this location because of their past reviews and their cost and could not be happier that I did. I was a hysterical mess bringing in my kitten. They assured me that they would take care of him. When I picked up my kittens ashes I also received a beautiful paw print with his name stamped in it which I absolutely love, a book about the loss of an animal, and a certificate of where he was cremated. I thought that would be the last I heard from Loving Family but just two days later I received a hand written and signed card in the mail from a bunch of the staff expressing their condolences for my loss, I can not express in words how much that meant to me. I know my baby was respected while at Loving Family and I will be sure to take all of my animals there from now on for any of their needs while they are alive and when they have passed. Thank you Loving Family!

First I would like to say Dr. Weldon is wonderful. The office tech’s are wonderful. The main focus for the office is to generate $$$$$. My dog should have been referred immediately to a pet hospital and was not an option till after I spend $800 in care. I was warned they push extras and to not take all the extra’s. They do not have overnight care so if your pet is super sick you will have to take they somewhere else. My dog has diabetes and acute pancritis. Four day with a weekend in-between they called just a few times to follow up on the dog and when I called it seemed as if it was a burden to discuss the dogs condition. They do take CARECREDIT but the interest is at 200.00 where any other office I have been too sets the interest at 100.00. They must get a kickback for the card. Regarding the insulin shots they refused to write the prescription for me to take to Walmart to get it cheaper. Told me they only give out a certain kind of medication. The hospital was happy to write the script for me. The cost of the insulin was more then 100% more then what I could get on Amazon for the brand they charged me for. If you go there I am sure you will get good care for your pet but it is a business first and then a pet hospital. Ended up taking my pet to PlannedPethood in Denver. 3 days in the hospital/medication/iv/xrays and love for a grand total of $300.00.
