I took my Labrador to Bel Air for years because I believed they (basically) had a good reputation. One of the assistants was always kind and friendly to me... but my dog developed a lump over his right shoulder. As it grew in size, I asked Dr. Bo to have it removed, but my concerns were downplayed and dismissed every time I brought my dog in for a check-up. Eventually, the lump grew so big (huge) that it had to be bandaged everyday. I made another appointment to (once again) ask the doctor to remove it. I waited 55 minutes past my appointment time to be seen, only to be told it wasnt a priority on the surgery schedule. After that day, I left Bel Air and never went back. Multiple people, including someone on a local panel of veterinarians, recommended Alpine Veterinary Clinic. They removed the tumor right away. My dogs quality of life dramatically improved for two years. Later I learned that Dr. Bo administers vaccinations behind the shoulder, which may have caused my dogs lump. When my dog was a puppy, Bel Air treated me and my dog with respect. When he was a senior, Bel Air treated him like a throw away and rolled their eyes at my concerns. Yesterday, I put my dog down at Alpine at the age of 13. I will never regret the decision I made to switch clinics and I hope nobody else goes through the same experience I had at Bel Air. I dont take it lightly to give a business such a bad review, which is why Ive waited so long to speak up, but I believe this will help others. Good luck and thanks for reading.

I probably would have given 4 or 5 stars had my experience not been so horrible. The location was great, the front staff was nice. Everything changed when she (The older lady dark haird dont kno name dont care to ever) walked in. She never acknowledged my puppy, she went straight to bitching about how she had to figure out what he needed and how difficult it was having different paperwork. My previous vet had mentioned a vaccination, and my other pet had received it in an different state . The name slipped my mind, but she had no clue what I was talking about. Her cluelessness was not entirely why left. It was her. This person obviously dont like her job or dogs. Does not know how to treat animals much less people. I ended up going back to the vet I had used, given a complimentary visit from the pet store, though about an hour drive. I should have went there in the first place. The vet there sat on the floor playing with both my pups, and the office staff enjoyed playing with them. My husband and I travel like many other people do. We have been to several different vets between Oklahoma and Washington. I have lots of paperwork on all my animals...from different places. Never once have I experienced this. Ill take my pets and my money elsewhere!

First I want to start off by saying Dr. Bo is awesome!!! However, Dr. Rouch not so much. We have a black lab the is pregnant and was due by 1-12-2015, we brought her in on 1-14-2015 to see Dr. Bo but he was really busy so Dr. Rouch saw her. There we no xrays or an ultrasound done to see if the puppies were ok, if she was ok, or to even see if she was pregnant. Literally paid $48 for him to say "Just gotta wait". well here it is 1-16-2015 and still no puppies. Called back today and Dr. Bo is not in the office, and we were told if we wanted xrays done we would have to go to Pet Emergency. Whats the point in having a Vets office for your dog if they wont do anything to take care of our pets? I am seriously disappointed in the lack of caring on the part of Dr. Rouch and the front desk staff. We have 3 adult dogs and 3 cats thaat have been going to Belair for at least 3 years, not to mention all of the puppies before they go to new homes. I dont know what to do at this point with my pregnant dog, but if something happens to her because we were told by a "Professional" to just wait.... I will be seriously upset. I do not recommend Belair for anything other than routine shots.

I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment, ended up waiting 45 minutes before my cat was seen. Clients who showed up after me were taken back first although I was told "10-15 minutes". Receptionist who did our check out seemed clueless about her job and pet prescriptions. My kitty was seen by Dr. Stohrer. I was thoroughly unimpressed with her comments and treatment towards not only my cat by myself. After asking a question about how late shots may affect behavior she laughed at me and said "you think its a behavioral shot?" No, I wondered how it being late may affect her, cause you know, Im not a vet! She was rather rude when answering questions and completely inappropriate grabbing my upset cat inhumanly rather than giving her a second to calm down. It was a Monday, I understand things can get backed up sometimes but the rush through the appointment, insensitive care and lack of attention to wait times has made up my mind. This was not only our first visit here but our last. Would give zero stars if I could.

My dog was sick this morning it came out of no where, completely unexpected, they were the first vet office I called when I was trying to look for the best rates and who would get me in quickest let me tell you, they were THE BEST! They gave me half off their wellness exam for my dog being a new patient and when I first called the receptionist/vet tech she was so knowledgeable on what could be going on with my dog all of the possibilities for treatment and their cost, she was able to give me an estimate that was less than any of the surrounding vets. Luckily my dog wasnt in as bad of shape as I thought and ended up spending wicked amounts less than I was prepared for. They were so friendly and courteous, answered all of my many questions without hesitation and with utter certainty, I WILL definitely be taking my pooch back there!

Dr. Bo cropped my Dobermans ears and they turned out fantastic. He had them done at 8 weeks and he is now 6 months and I still love the way they look. We wrapped them for about 4 weeks (which is not long! My other one has to be wrapped for close to 6 months!) and they stood quickly. Dr. Bo also corrected a botched tail docking and he did it out of the goodness of his heart! The only thing I was disappointed about was that the other doctor made me feel guilty for cropping and one of the front desk girls openly talked about how she very strongly disagreed with it in front of me. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but they shouldnt make their customers feel guilty or try to make them feel bad when THEIR doctor is doing the work! All in all, I would absolutely go back to Dr. Bo if I lived closer.

I noticed that my Bella wasnt able to go potty. I immediately went into a panic because she was in so much distress. Took her to the 24 hr vets and found that she had bladder stones. They wanted to charge me 2500 to admit her and do emergency surgery. We could not wait even 24 hrs. It was a Monday and I did not get paid until Wed...all we needed was someone who would do the surgery immediately and I could pay them in full on Wed. We called over 30 clinics on the front range and NOBODY would do it unless I had cash up front.. Until we called Belair....I came up with a down-payment to get the surgery started. And Wed paid them the balance. I would have lost my Bella had they not helped me. We are very fortunate to have them.
