When I went in to see them the process was fairly painless. They called me when it was time to come in and when I got there, after filling out the paper work, I only had to wait about 15 minutes to get in. The doctor and staff were very nice. However, I had to get 4 test done at a lab that they sent me to down the street. The results were supposed to be back within 2-3 days and when they got back the doctor was supposed to call me. I turned in my first sample (we will call it Sample A) to be tested that day. The other three samples I was not able to get to the lab untill 3 days later (samples B). 4 days after I turned in Sample A I still had not heard from Nextcare so I called them. They said they had not gotten it back yet. 2 days later they called me and the nurse said that all of my results came back and were negative. I asked her specifically if Sample A was negative because it was the most seriouse one and she said yes. Then a few minutes later she called me back to say that they had not gotten Sample A back yet! I told her that I turned that one in first and it should have come back earlier than the others. She said that they had not received it back and that I would have to call the lab to find out what was going on. I called the lab and the man told me that Sample A was compleeted the day I turned it in and the results had been sent to Nextcare the day after! So I called back the Nextcare clinic and told them but they couldnt find it anywere so the receptionist said she would call them to see and would call me back. At the end of the day I still hadent heard from her so I called her back and she said that she had called the lab and that they told her that the test was not done yet. It was after 5 by then so I was not able to call the lab. The next morning I called the lab back first thing and talked to a lady this time who told me the same thing the man had. I told her everything that had happend with Nextcare and she said she would refax them for me. I waited till the end of the day for Nextcare to call to tell me they had received them but I never heard from them. I finaly called them at the end of the day and the receptionist told me they had received them but the doc hasent had a chance to look at them yet and that they would call me as soon as he did. I didnt hear from them all the next day either. Finally 2 days after I know they received my results I still hadnt heard from them so I called them. The receptionist told me that the doc still hadnt had a chance to get to them. I told her that I needed to know because the test is for what could be a seriouse illness and I needed to know if I had it or not so I would know if I needed to start treatment. She said she was sorry but there was nothing she could do and that the doctor would call me as soon as he had looked at it. I am still waiting to hear back from them the next day!!!!! This is the worst service I have ever had from a doctor. I would never in my life go back to them. I still havent heard back from them if i have what could be a very seriouse illness. I have already found another doctor and if I dont hear back from them today I am going to demend my money back for the labs I paid $500 for !!!DO NOT GO HEAR!!

Well this has been the worst experience I have ever had at a clinic. My children were diagnosed with step throat and were treated for it. Two days later I also started having symptoms, so I also went in for a checkup. I was given a step test but the test came back negative. My provider, knowing I was around to children with step decided to go ahead and give me antibiotics and sent me home. And just so you know, I am a 28 year old healthy adult and this will make sense in a sec why I am telling you this... So, the very next day I took my mother in who was experiencing symptoms and has been around the sick kids also. My mother is 65 and on her second cycle of breast cancer. She is very weak as it is and is now having to deal with this!! So, I took her in assuming sense they have treated the kids and myself would treat her... No! They gave her a step test that also came up negative just like the way mine went, but would not give her any antibiotics! They gave a young woman that was not having near the symptoms that my sick mother is having and wouldnt giver my mother medicine. And btw if your wondering, she just moved to this area two weeks ago and thats the only reason she does not have primary care provider. Other wise Im sure a competent Doctor would now that her white blood cell count would be low and all the energy her body is using to fight this cancer would know she needs a boost to help her through this bug! So after the shock of not getting any meds for my mother the receptionist was totally rude and seamed to be smirking at my mother and I the hole time during this ordeal. When my mother asked to speak to the manager about this, he wouldnt even show his face! They didnt even care! In fact it seemed like these women thought this was funny sending a sick woman with cancer home with no treatment. I am so disgusted with this urgent care and will be contacting the BBB and maybe even a lawyer. If you are going to treat 3 of my family members with medicine why in the world would you not treat the sickest one!!!! This was so disrespectful! And if anyone is wondering the Doctors name that was so rude to my mother was Dr Swanson. And the woman at the front that was smirking name was Kassi. I dont recommend this place to anyone, in fact I would run as far away from this place I can. I am also still waiting on a call back from the manager of this place. We shall see if I even get a courtesy call back. I really doubt!

Normally I dont write reviews (I just dont have the time), but since Im home sick from work, I feel compelled to share my experience at this NextCare Urgent Care yesterday evening. I did the online check-in and was pleasantly surprised to see my name with a call back time between 7-22 minutes. Eventually this was upgraded to 0-15 minutes (30 minutes later), and then I was called back 1 hour after I arrived. I didnt mind the wait because, well, its urgent care. I was treated really well by both the receptionist and the MA. However, when it was my turn to be seen by the physician, she walked in and didnt spend more than 3 minutes with me. She just confirmed the test results of strep throat and asked if I had any questions. I had a couple, to which she had really unhelpful and seemingly patronizing answers. Ive never had strep before so I wanted to know if my family was at high risk to get it, too. She said, "well, if you consider that were exposed to over 50 patients a day", you can do the math. What I should have asked, was, "how contagious am I"? I mentioned other coincidences, like my youngest daughter (10 months old) had a fever the day before, too. Her response, "there are over 1000 different viruses out there". I left the clinic feeling a bit sour. Which is nothing compared to when I went to pick up the prescription. The pharmacist at Walgreens kindly told me that the antibiotics that the physician ordered cost over $500. With my prescription card and the manufacturers coupon, it brought it down to over $200. The pharmacist tried to call the urgent care to have the MD switch the order to another drug, but she had already left for the day. The pharmacist told me that they rarely get this prescription due to the harshness on the stomach and the fact that it has to be taken for 10 days. After a few phone calls the next morning, I finally got my antibiotics - a Z-pack for a low-low price of $3. If you go to this clinic and see Dr. Celeste Swanson (by the way, she never even introduced herself - the pharmacist shared this with me), have your questions ready ahead of time and make sure they are detailed. I was really disappointed with my experience.
