When I initially signing up with Kaiser I was excited about the level of service I had heard about Kaiser. I went through the doctors list and carefully picked the doctor I thought would best fit me then made an appointment for a physical at Hidden Lake. When I got there I had been passed off to an RN & was told if I wanted to see the doctor I had chosen I would need to reschedule. I chose to go with the RN. The physical was little more then a couple questions I could have answered on line. My second experience with Kaiser was for two broken/dislocated thumbs. I called the hotline to find the nearest Kaiser center. The initial operator had no idea so transferred me to Hidden Lake. After being left on hold for over 10 minutes I hung up. Someone called me back aprox 15 minutes after that & said they had been dealing with "a personal emergency"of their own. At this point I had already gone to local ER. The ER Confirmed one break & said I need to see local ortho to check for possible ligament or tendon damage on the other. 3rd experience- Called Hidden lake, they referred me to another Kaiser ortho. I called there & left message as directed. I had a call returned that day saying someone else would call me back to schedule when they deemed fit. Called again next day because no one had responded as they said they would. Finally got a nurse saying I would be seen for one hand. I told her it was for both. Her answer was if I wanted both seen I would need top call back & set another appointment for the other hand! Completely unsatisfied up to this point with my coverage & care

If you have any options other than Kaisers behavioral health, do yourself a favor and avoid Kaiser at all costs. I work in the behavioral health field and therefore have at least a basic understanding of therapy, behavioral health management and state laws relative to behavioral health services. The Kaiser doc that I saw was one of the most arrogant and contemptuous people I have ever met. This person lied to me multiple times during our first meeting while trying to explain/justify why medications they were prescribing were unavailable for days after I requested them. I contacted Kaisers complaint line, something that I was urged to do by a Kaiser scheduler when I called to ask for a different provider, and they were extremely dismissive, stated more than once that it is my choice to continue to receive services through Kaiser and were unwilling to confirm that they would pursue my concerns. I explained that Kaiser is the only option that my employer offers for coverage and I was told that it is my choice to work where I do. A simple, "well look into it and get back to you" would have been sufficient but that was obviously expecting something that they are unwilling to provide. Access to behavioral health services can be tough on many individuals in need of these services and Kaiser seemingly marginalizes this idea and then some.

To plainly put it, Kaiser sucks ass. The only reason why most people go with kaiser is because they are cheap. Doctors never really tend to help you and normally blow off important things. For example, my cousin was diagnosed with lymphoma. He went to Kaiser 3 separate times telling the doctor about strange lumps on his body, they told him they were probably cysts, it turned out to be cancer. I have only seen true help a couple of times from my doctor. And I try not to even deal with the Pharmacy. The will purposefully nickle and dime you on every little thing. If you have medicaid, then do not go to kaiser pharmacy, they will not give you a 30 day supply of your prescription even though it says you need it. If your prescription goes over 30 days (for whatever reason) they will give you less and charge the same amount. Ex. Insulin vials provide 1000 units. If you use 80 units a day then that would be 12.5 days for 1 vial. 2 vials is 25 days, not enough for the whole month. But 3 vials is 37.5 days and they will not give you that last vial because it goes over 30 days, but they will charge you the same for both. All in all, kaiser sucks. They will not provide good service and very few people get good service and they will charge you for everything.

This is, by far, the WORST place Ive ever been. The pdoc didnt listen to me when I told her about my medical history. The pharmacy didnt fill my prescriptions on time so I ran out of meds and had to wait 8 DAYS to get them filled. I saw the psychiatrist on a Wednesday. She put me on meds that I had taken in the past and DID NOT work for me. I told her multiple times that they would not work and I will end up in the hospital. She didnt care and prescribed them anyway. When I got out of that session at 4:00 pm I scheduled a therapy appointment for the next day at 3:30 pm. I show up the next day at 2:00 pm to check in because, so far, Kaiser has messed up every prescription refill and every doctor visit I had had with them. When I went to check in the lady told me that the therapy session was the day before at 3:30. She was basically telling me that my session was half an hour before I even made the appointment. If you can go somewhere else then do. These people will mess up everything. If you are going there for psych help then I HIGHLY recommend you go somewhere else. Your psychiatrist will NOT listen to you and you will be switching between meds every month. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!

Im too in shock with all the bad reviews, I think most people are just do use to hearing bad things about Kaiser, Ive had the same doctor for about 3 years or more, and I absolutely love my doctor, SHAWNA GRACE is the best doctor Ive ever had, she listens, makes time, and mostly she cares, shes good with me and with my children as well. I never have to wait for anything except blood work or texts results, the pharmacy tecs are great, this location is by far the best and less busy, I give all 5 star, I would hate to ever leave this doctors clinic, Thank You for being here not just for me but for my children as well, maybe the people complaining about being on meds really need them or some kind for there negative addituds, cause I have never had a bad experience, Keep Up The Good Work, Mrs. VIGIL

Ive been going to this location for 2o + years now, Im very surprised by all the bad reviews! Ive had 2 back, surgeries which they fixed well, cancer (which is in remission ) and just recently a heart attack. (Still alive) Yes Im sure there are issues with meds and some doctors, but all in all. If you you know how to use the system its great. Make an online account and its awesone. Appointments at the touch of a mouse. 90 day refills by mail. Advice line. History, lab results usually in 24 hours. All inclusive in one location Doctors, lab, x rays and pharmacy. Ive been with other carriers. They dont compare!

After working with 2 doctors for over a month to treat depression symptoms, I was asked to speak with a member of their "crisis team". This person, who I spoke to for all of 5 minutes, then took it upon herself to put a medical hold on me and have me transported to a hospital. At no point did the doctors who were completely aware of my status and baseline mood, ever even attempt to correct this ridiculous course of action. This person, who admitted to being inexperienced in her job, cost me thousands of dollars because of a 5 minute conversation. I will never use KP for anything ever again.
