Horrendous, unprofessional, snooty staff. Dr Bassow should really be ashamed of her team. They refused to take me because I wanted to pay out of pocket. They are uneducated and thought CICP was an insurance and told me it was illegal to take me because I use CICP to see another Doctor. I called the CICP offices and was told that is absolutely false because CICP is not an insurance and that I am just choosing not to use the program, and that I can use whatever Doctor I want if I am paying out of pocket. When I call Dr Bassows office back to let them know this, I was put on the phone with Kim in billing. Kim told me CICP is an insurance, when I told her I spoke with CICP and they said that to be false, she then said they would not take me because they couldnt see me for several weeks even though I was not looking to be seen immediately, I was simply shopping around for a Primary Care Physician who was near me. I cannot even begin to describe how low these women made me feel, including the receptionist Becka who repeatedly told me how expensive it was to see the Dr Bassow without insurance, which it really wasnt. I ended up calling Highlands Family Medicine where the receptionist was polite and I had absolutely no trouble setting up an appointment. If you live in Wheat Ridge, I suggest you look carefully at all of the staff in Dr Bassows office before making a decision.

I have used Dr. Bassows office for more years than I care to admit. Fortunately for me I have never needed more than preventative care there. I am usually seen promptly and the staff is professional. I plan to continue having Dr. Bassow as my physician for the foreseeable future.

Ive been going there for almost two years now. Theyre always quick to get me in and when I get in I never have to wait long at all to be seen. The doctors and staff genuinely care about their patients and are always very helpful in getting you all fixed up.
