I have been going to Companion for years and I will no longer be going. When I first got my dog I called to see how much shots were going to be and the receptionist responded by saying "if you cant afford a dog then you probably shouldnt have gotten one". So rude and so disrespectful but I let it slide. Recently they hired a new doctor who is obviously fresh out of school. I brought my dog in for an anal gland expression and a nail trim and it was very clear that he had no idea what he was doing. Which is concerning because both of those are fairly easy things. I told them she does best with the drill while she sits on my lap to which the reception desk rudely responded that the drill was only used per request. I then told them I would like to request the drill to which they responded that they dont actually have a drill. They took my dog in the back and I heard her screaming, howling and making crazy noises so I ran back to find her muzzled and foaming at the mouth with blood everywhere. They had cut her nail so short that she was bleeding. I took off her muzzle and asked them how it got to this point, tears in my eyes. Everyone scattered and it was clear the situation was completely out of control. As I left I was charged FULL PRICE for the entire thing. When I called back to speak to another doctor about the situation he told me he would be more than happy to transfer my records to another office. Are you kidding me?! I WOULD NEVER BRING MY ANIMAL HERE. My dog is traumatized, Im traumatized and all the office cares about is the fact that they got my money. Stay far away from this place!!!!!

I have never been able to, nor can I now, say a bad thing about this vet office! Dr. Munger is the veterinarian I have trusted my familys and my animals with since I was just a tot. Every time I bring in an animal (most recently my 11.5 year old Boxer), he listens carefully, makes sure the animal is comfortable and loved, and always gives me every bit of information I may need up front. He has never lied to me on anything. Recently my dog, Roxy, has needed a little more care than when she was younger. I took her in last year for a teeth cleaning, and while she was under anesthesia, Dr. Munger went ahead and took out some bumps I was slightly worried were going to cause complications. She came out of surgery drugged, but happy. This year I took her in to see Dr. Munger to discuss a lump I found in her chest/neck area. I took her in right away. Dr. Munger took some samples from that lump and a few others on her body. He analyzed them in house, told me a few of them were just fat deposits (fairly common in older dogs), but he was worried about the one on her neck. She was scheduled for surgery, went in a few days later, came out of it with no complications, and has not shown any detrimental signs since he removed it! Roxy is as happy as can be, loves the attention and the people at the vets office, and I never have to worry about bringing her there. The office staff is very competent, and they always have some chocolate treats for the people and some doggy treats for the pups. I highly recommend Companion Animal Hospital!

We have taken or cats here forever. Great docs, great techs (We LOVE Karen) and they go way above & beyond for their patients. They have treated our pets with love and compassion.
