This place deserves ZERO stars. I had been bringing one of my dogs here since 2014 with no problems. In may of 2017 I asked my mom to bring my puppy in for his vaccinations. I asked her to do this because I was in school full time back then. My mom brought my puppy in for his last round of vaccinations and my puppy was given the INCORRECT shot by the vet tech. He was given double rabies and no vaccinations and my mom was still expected to pay for both even though the vet tech admitted she hadnt checked the labels on the shot. I understand mistakes happen but why would we still be expected to pay for something we never wanted and for something that could be harmful to our puppy? ON TOP OF THAT my lol says the front desk older lady was incredibly rude to her asking her "why are you so upset" and my mom replied back "because he was given the wrong shots and nothing is happening to rectify this" At that point my mom was probably a little mouthy but only out of fear that the dog would have side affects of getting double rabies when he was only 10 weeks old. So today I come in restart his shots and they inform me that I or my animals are no longer welcome on the premises ever again. EVENTHOUGH I had nothing to do with the incident I was not even present at the time. After trying to explain this to the front desk lady she told me that the manager said "we cant just take you today because you decide to be nice today" ARE YOU JOKING?! After I already said I was not involved in the incident in the first place. This situation was handled 100% wrong and very unprofessionally. I understand that my mothers behavior might have been inappropriate but at the same time this is an issue that is THE VET TECHS fault if they had no been so irresponsible and checked that they were giving the correct shots none of this would have even been an issue. If a medical assistant would have given a child or a human the wrong shot they would have lost their job no question about it. The practice wouldnt brush it off like it was no big deal and completely ignore and invalidate the parents concern. For us our dogs are our FAMILY and we were incredibly worried for our puppy especially since he was so young. This office acted like it was no big deal and didnt even empathize for their mistake they made. My grandparents recommended this place to me since they have taken their dogs to hamlett forever. After the way I was treated I will never recommend this place to any of my friends or family again. DONT GO HERE. Yes the prices are cheaper but the employees and management dont care about you or your pet.

I am very impressed. My 5 month old puppy Lucy was spayed here on June 5, 2015. The staff is friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. When I scheduled the appointment, I was asked if I suspected any other surgical necessities - hernia or dew claw removal. She offered a free nail trim which I was happy to accept. I was told that drop off was between 7 and 2. I arrived at 7:00 am and was instructed to write my name down on the sign in sheet - I was number 5 to arrive - and wait to be called up. My husband came with me so he walked Lucy outside while I waited. The waiting area is nice, clean with plenty of seating. After about 20 minutes, they called me up. I signed some papers and was asked about whether I wanted pain medication. I was told to wait again to be called. This time I waited less than 5 minutes before we were taken back to an examination room. The vet assistant weighed Lucy, checked her ears, eyes, teeth and then gave her a needle with the tranquilizer. Then she took us back to put her in the kennel. We were told we could pick her up between 2:30 and 4 pm. I arrived at 2:30 on the nose and signed in on the pick up sheet and sat down to wait. This was a bit longer wait - about 30 minutes. Then I was called up, we went over post-op care and I signed some papers, paid, received the medication and was taken back to the kennel. She is healing well. I would like to note that they use a silver, antibiotic spray seal for the spay instead of stitches - which alleviates the necessity to return for removal of stitches. As for the price, Lucy weighed 20.6 pounds and I was charged $75.00 plus pain meds and tax. So my account came to under $85.00 - you cant beat that. The only complaint I would have is that there is surgical glue on a spot on her neck. Ive read that the glue will eventually disintegrate and I cant bathe her for 2 weeks anyway. Its not bothering her at all so Im not that worried about it. I would definitely recommend this clinic and am very happy with the outcome. I believe its well worth any wait. **Bonus points for them- the office followed up by calling today (June 9, 2015) to see how shes doing. Very much appreciated!

I got a new kitten and when we called our regular vet they were super booked, so we made an appointment for about a month later, so before that we decided to take him here to get his first set of shots as well as a deworming. When we got there, they said he was too small to get a vaccine AND the deworming, which right off the bat I knew was bullshit. I have two other cats, both got multiple vaccines/deworming/etc. when they were much smaller than him, and they were completely fine. So they gave him the vaccine and not the deworming. Like I said, I have two other cats. So of course, both of them now have worms as well as the new kitten did. The appointment for my regular vet came up and we got the new kitten dewormed. & so they dont keep infecting each other with worms over and over again, we took the other two cats to this walk in clinic to get dewormed. When I told them that they all had diarrhea, they refused to deworm them! They said that giving the deworming medicine to a cat that has diarrhea will cause problems with the GI tract. When I said "Diarrhea is a symptom of worms" they said no its not. Thats the most ridiculous thing Ive ever heard! Especially since just an hour previous to this, I was at my regular vet and they said the cause of my kittens diarrhea has the worms. I thought that this vet was convenient because of the walk ins, especially with my regular vet being so busy lately. But this vet has just caused me more and more inconveniences. Now I have to pay for all three of them to get dewormed again!

I took my cat in to be spayed. I asked if they did a pregnancy test before the procedure. I made it clear to the front desk that we would like to know if she is pregant (due to the fact that she got out a couple times before the appointment date.) They said they have no way of determining that -- then they asked if I was in the examining room. I told them that my husband went in the room. My husband didnt ask -- assuming they woukd tell him if she was. If you take your cat to this place make sure you ask the vet to check for pregnancy. It seems like a logical thing to do in an exam room, but apparently they just take your word if you, the owner, are not 100% sure of it. I came back later in the day to pick up my cat. They told me she was 4 wks pregnant and they had to give her fluids. I was speechless. They aborted the kittens without checking to make sure it was OK to do it. I was told they dont have an x-ray machine (which is the way you can make a definite decision). My question- which was never answered at the clinic - why couldnt a trained professional figure out that my cat was 4wks pregnant? It takes 60 days for cats to go full term .... what was their reasoning to abort kittens when they could have called us so that we could take her home. My cat was previously pregnant, and a previous vet was able to determine pregnancy with a manual examination. Given the choice my husband and I would have let our cat have the kittens and found them good homes. This place is basically a slaughter house - beware.
