I was introduced to Doc Cahill 5 years ago by my then dog groomer. I have been grateful to her ever since. She picked up on the fact that Maggie had some kind of allergy situation going on. After thinking it over for a few days I decided to contact Dr. Cahill. Boy am I glad I did! Maggie had multiple allergies plus a bad front shoulder and back issues, none of which our previous vet knew anything about. He worked tirelessly to help Maggie get better. We figured out the correct diet for her to be eating, got her a chiropractor to help with the back and shoulder issue, and put her on the correct medications to keep her on an even keel. He told me up front that Maggie probably wouldnt live to be an old dog because of all her issues, but with Docs help I gave her the best 6 1/2 years that she could have had. When it came time to say goodbye to her, Doc was here to help me through that difficult time. He explained everything that would happen, gave me time to say goodbye and I could tell that it was almost as difficult for him as it was for me. It helped that Maggie could be here at home instead of in a cold clinic somewhere. He is a VERY caring and compassionate man. He will work tirelessly for his patients and their pet parents, if needed he will come out to the house anytime of the day OR night. In the 50 years that I have had dogs I have never found anyone better to take care of my babies. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants the best for their "babies."

Save your money and take your pet to an actual vet office. My cat had a limp, it wasnt an emergency but I thought having a vet come to the home would be great idea. You dont have to take your pet anywhere! This was one of the worst ideas Ive ever had. My cat loves everyone, and from the time Dr. Cahill came in the door I my cat was on edge. Without even giving my cat a chance to get familiar with him, he started petting my cats wiskers (which my cat did not like and was unhappy about). After examining my cat Dr. Cahill decided that my cat had slipped discs causing his limp, and prescribed oral medication for us while we wait to be seen by a kitty chiropractor (his recommendation). Dr. Cahill then wanted to give my cat a shot to reduce inflammation, but expected my husband or I to hold the cat down. This did not go over well. My husband got severe scratches on his arms, my cat peed in our living room, and continued to hiss at us for at least three days after. Keep your pets bad experiences out of your house. We did not give our cat the medication prescribed, and took him to vet office the following week to have x-rays done, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with his vertebrae. I would not call this service again, and I would urge other people to take your pets to a veterinary office to avoid a terrible experience.

My 9 year old poodle having lost her battle with diabetes, blindness, and all the junk that comes with that was fading fast. I called the Dr. around noon and he said hed be available between 18:00 & 20:00. Shortly after 18:00 he called to let me know he was on the way. The doctor explained everything, asked questions with kindness, and above all had a soothing demeanor at such a horrible time for me and my dad. I held her until it was time for the second shot and then left the room...thankfully my father and Dr. C took care of the rest. No one wants to put their family member, in my case, kiddo down, but he made it simple, calm, and doable. Such a warm soul, and Im thankful he helped us through our difficult time.

I called Dr Cahill desperate for mobile vet service because my "regular" mobile vet in my area was out of town, I found my 13 yr old shepherd mix in distress and completely blind last month after coming home from work and had to make the heart wrenching decision to let her go, but could not/would not wait and was not going to try and drag her to a vets office. Dr Cahill drove through rush hour traffic clear to the other end of town to end my dogs suffering and distress. He was empathetic, gave me all the time I needed to say goodbye and I was able to let my dog go holding her and comforting her in her own surroundings. Thank you so much - I highly recommend your services! And...reasonable too.

I got really good vibes from Dr Cahills reviews. There were a lot of options for in home care for my dogs. Something about his reviews in general spoke to me. Im very glad I chose Dr Cahill! He made one of the hardest moments of my life so much easier, by helping me ease my Leyna girls pain. He was gentle and very compassionate. He is and will be my only Vet that I will use. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Cahill. He is not just an wonderful vet, he is an amazing human! Thank you Doc!!!

During a road trip across the country, my geriatric kitty didnt fare well. When I arrived in Denver, she was clearly in trouble. Dr. Cahill came to see her. He was very patient and understanding. We decided that it was time to say goodbye to her and she passed very peacefully with his help. I am very thankful for his dedication and willingness to make house calls after hours. --R.S. Amazing! Dr. Cahill is highly recommended in my book. Hes been very honest, punctual, knowledgeable and caring. Dr. Cahill is very affordable and personable. If youre uncomfortable with taking your pet to the vets office then this is your guy. If youre interested in having the best veterinarian in Colorado then DR.CAHILL is your guy! Try him out I bet youll never want another vet.

I had Lulu for 9 years. Recently, she was diagnosed with multiple tumors and I wanted her to pass on in the comfort of our home surrounded by her loved ones. I called dr. Cahill and he came and lovingly and painlessly ended Lulus suffering. Now, any time someone needs a mobile veterinarian for animal and pet euthanasia, I recommend Affordable House Calls and Dr. Cahill.

I cant say enough good things about Dr. Cahill. I called on a Thursday and he came out Saturday to help us ease our 17-year-old beagle into her next life. The doc was punctual, kind, and gentle with us as well as with our baby girl. The price was reasonable and the experience of having her go to sleep at home in her own yard was priceless. I highly recommend.

My cat went missing for 20 hours and was found under a dumpster at 3am. I called this vet and was told Id receive a call within 15 minutes from the doctor. By 7am I had called 5 times and had not received a call from the doctor. I ended up taking my kitty somewhere else, who did a wonderful job. This vet is obviously not 24 hours as advertised or reliable.

This vet is absolutely amazing! Caring, thoughtful and best of all knowledgeable. He doesnt try to push ridiculous tests or odd shots just to get the bill higher. I have never met a vet who is so caring! I have recommended him to all my friends. Also, he isnt that much more expensive than going to the vets office. Best decision I ever made for my pup.
