Do not go to this dentist. Average cleaning at incredibly high prices with a deceptive front desk and dentist staff. The whole experience left me feeling like I have been swindled by a crooked used car dealer. I called ahead to see if this location was in-network for Metlife and the resonse was "We take all insurances" which was very deceptive because this dentist is not in network for Metlife. At the end of my appointment the front desk staff asked for a co-pay. I informed them that I did not have a co-pay for routine cleanings. They said that I had to pay the portion that my insurance company did not pay. This is the first that I was informed there would be an out of pocket cost. The fact that they knew this information but waited until after my appointment to tell me is deceitful and immoral. Had the front desk staff honestly answered my question regarding being in network or out of network, I would not have gone here. I specified that I only wanted a cleaning but the staff insisted on taking x-rays. I told them that I did not need x-rays because I had them taken 4 months ago and everything was fine. They assured me that they called my insurance company and that the x-rays would be included with my routine exam. This is inaccurate and have been billed $92 for the x-rays that I did not want and were NOT covered by my insurance. This was also very deceptive of the staff. This dentist office billed me $295 for a routine cleaning. My out of pocket cost for 15 minutes of work is $160. I have never had to pay any portion of routine cleanings in the past. Please do yourself a favor and walk down the street to Sloans Lake Dental.

In early November I had booked an appointment with Pearly Dentistry and Dr. Glamm for late December because they were so busy. Later in the day they called me back because they had found an opening early and were able to get me in the first week of December. I was in need of fixing a filling that had been giving me problems. The Dr called me herself and asked if I would have an interest in getting a cleaning and the tooth repaired in the same visit. I thought that was great because normally you get x-rays and a cleaning and then have to come back. I arrived 10 minutes early was able to get back into the chair on time and had a great experience. The Dr walked me through everything that was happening and gave me more information than I have ever received from a dentist in the past. I was sad to hear I had more cavities and needed to come back, but who doesnt anticipate that? :) The staff is friendly and bent over backwards to take care of the issues and the facility was great. If you want a dentist and practice that knows what they are doing, spends time with you to make sure you know what is happening and gives you cable tv and headphones during the procedures, then go in and see the dentists at Pearl, you wont be disappointed.

I spoke with the receptionist Alli to schedule a small chip on my tooth to be fixed. I was quoted $106 for an xray of the tooth and to see the dentist, additionally $186+ for the tooth to be fixed. I made it very clear I wanted to get it fixed as soon as possible so they scheduled me for the very next day. I took off the morning from work...not a small feat... showed up to the office 10 minutes early, was seated and then soon after was told the dentist (Dr. Walker) only had about 20 minutes before her next scheduled appointment. Excuse me????? What did I make this appointment for? The dentist then escorted me to the front to speak to the person who made the appointment who then in the most snotty way possible told me she made it very clear to me that this was only to see the doctor first. If that was the case it sure as hell was not made clear to me and why then would we have not booked out the following appointment? Clearly she made a mistake and was not only unwilling to take responsibility for it and apologize, but made it out that I was a moron who misunderstood! Absolutely unacceptable!!! I dont care how good the dentist may be, if her staff is incompetent and the customer service is terrible then you are no good to me!

Both Dr. Walker and Dr. Glamm were listed in 5280 magazines Top Doc issue for 2011. After the last dentist who actually worked on my teeth sent me into yet another life threatening allergic reaction because I had a known allergy to the dye in the impression material he used (the 3rd bad reaction Ive had to impression material), I went to twelve dentists who all refused to treat me, including two deans of the CU Dental College. The deans elected Dr. Walker to treat me, who took the time to actually call the manufacturer of the molding compounds she used, since ingredients arent listed on the box of impression material, but in the MSDS sheets available by request from the manufacturer. Havent had a reaction or wheeze at the dentists office since. Outstanding doc, does the fillings and impressions herself rather than relying on assistants like the chain offices do, the least pain Ive ever had at the dentist during procedures, and no issues of having to go back in because something wasnt filed right like Ive had in the past.

2017 Follow up: - Just cant say enough good things about this well ran, super friendly office staff, and their very modern approach to general cleanings to my personal needs for my chipped teeth and fillings. They take their time and listen to my needy requests without hesitation or comment. I recently moved to the burbs of Littleton and still make the drive to see Dr. Glamm and her staff. As long as Im in the Denver area, Im a patient for life!!! Original post from 2013: Dr. Glamm was very professional with my entire visit from greeting me at the front desk to making sure I wasnt in ANY pain during my procedures. She adds what other dentists fail to provide and thats a truly personalized touch no matter who you are and is very honest about what needs to be done. Oh, and the office space and equipment is STATE OF THE ART :)

Everyone at Pearl Dentistry is extremely friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The staff is very knowledgeable and sweet. Alli and Laura (at the front desk) always answer all of my insurance questions and try to fit my family and I in on short notice. They have been fantastic! I have had work done by all three of the dentists and each one is thorough, professional, and makes sure their work is perfect and looks/feels good. I recently broke out my front tooth, they got me in right away and made sure that my temporary bonding looked fantastic. They saved me! I have had such bad dental work done in the past that I never want to go anywhere else because they actually know and care about what they are doing. The only drawback is that they are so good that they are often very busy, but they really try to make it work.
