I have taken my new puppy to this vet on four different occasions in three months for various services and check-ups. On each occasion, they have included a nail trim free of charge. Since this Vet has a 4.8 rating, I stayed with them trying to ignore the fact that each experience was pretty awful thinking these were each going to be rare mishaps. However, after four visits, this appears to be the norm. The have a great deal of difficulty communicating their charges/prices to the customer. Each time weve asked the price for each service and were given a cost, and each time after the services were complete the costs were greater. When we asked why, it was because there were other services provided that were neither discussed in advance nor requested by us. The most recent example, our puppy had an appointment for a Rabies Shot this morning. When I asked what that appointment would cost, I was told $25. After the service, we were charged $89 for other services not communicated to us in advance nor requested. Then, when we asked for another nail trim, we were told it will be $23. They simply do not understand that customers are happy to pay for their services, we just deserve to know and understand what their services will cost in advance. More importantly, we also deserve to know and understand everything our pet is receiving and why. I wanted to like this vet.

This is simply the best vet office in the metro Denver area. I am VERY picky about the vet care my pets recieve. Dr. Dave is just the best. He is always right on top of things and finds things that other vets miss. He looks for the most conservative treatments. They combine both western and eastern healing for your pet... which is the absolute BEST! I moved to CA about a year ago and still call them for help as I have not found a vet with even close to the experience and knowledge that I got at Franktown. I want to move back to CO, just so my pets can get good veterinary care again! I HIGHLY recommend them. I am a professional groomer, breeder and show and train my own dogs, so I am an experienced dog person and recommend them to all my clients.

I have been going to this vet clinic since I was a kid, all of my pets growing up have come here, and now I take my pets here. I had one very sick kitten that I rescued as a stray that had everything possible wrong with him it seemed like. Now at one year of age he is healthy, and living one happy kitten life! I wouldnt take my pets anywhere else. Dr. S is the best there is.

The Doctors and staff are amazing! Everyone works well together to keep things moving, they are affordable, and most importantly, they really care about my tiny furry best friend! From vaccinations & teeth cleaning to surgery, I couldnt be more pleased with the care my pet has received at Franktown Animal Clinic.

Worst Experience we have ever had. My dog cut his paw open so they had to staple it back shut. Their prices are outrageous and when we changed the bandages half of the staples were misplaced not holding the cut together. Very frustrating! The staff was rude and unprofessional. We will not be going back!

This is an awesome place to take your pet for their health care. All the vets and techs are knowledgeable and compassionate. They give the best care from well check ups and shots to that sad time when you have to let your loved one go. Cant say enough good things about them and they are reasonable.

Dr Aker and the whole staff at Franktown Animal Clinic are hands down amazing. We were new to the area and were welcomed immediately. If price is a concern Franktown Animal Clinic is very reasonable. We are so grateful for the care and compassion we received here.
