I was a patient for almost two decades with this doctor. When my general dr called to ask if they would accept my medicaid coverage for a long time adult patient they were told yes. I was told yes when i called THREE times to confirm it and give my number. I was told today AT their office theyve never accepted adult medicaid and they called and left a voice mail the day before. I CALLED them to confirm my appointment, they did not call me or leave a voice mail and there was no issue with adult medicaid then. They clearly are disorganized, do not communicate with one another, and do not care about patients physical or mental well being if it interferes with their bottom line.

I called and told them everything suddenly want blury and I couldnt focus on anything. There response was they were booked about 30 days out. I asked what happens when there patients have emergencies the receptionist said she would talk to the doctor the second she got out of the exam, they never called back. In my last exam she said I was a high risk for retinal detachment and to call if my vision gets blury or foaties increase which I did and they didnt even care enough to get back to me. I had to go to someone I didnt even have a history with to help. Dont go here they dont care about you individually.

Dr. Mikula is the best eye doctor I have ever seen. I have been wearing corrective lenses for over 30 years. I have seen many eye doctors, I have been turned away from eye doctors as well do to my strong corrective lens that I require. Dr. Mikula does not ever indicate that I am hard to fit and is always optimistic with me. I absolutely look forward to my yearly visit with her even if my vision needs more improving over the years.

Dr. Mikula has a gift for fitting contacts, especially multi-focal contacts that work! No more contacts and reading glasses. I moved over an hour away, but found I had to make the drive in order to maintain my sight. And I learned my lesson - always double-check contact orders as I mistakenly received the incorrect lens for one eye -3.25 when it was supposed to be -3.75. Unfortunately I wore the entire box before I learned my lesson.

Terrible service. Happy to take your money - very slow to deliver the eyewear once you pay for it. Quoted my girlfriend 7-10 days, 22 days later still no glasses and they never even called to tell her they would be late.. Front desk staff are rude to say nothing of absent minded. Neat store with a good vibe - wrong team in the front of house.... Wouldnt recommend this place if you want good service or glasses in less than a month..

She takes the time to explain an incredible array of eye health issues, does thorough testing, and of course accurate prescriptions. The doctors are great as other reviews say, however take your prescription elsewhere to be filled. If I wanted to be handed a pair of glasses and be sent on my way with no fitting I would have ordered online for considerably less money and equal or greater customer service after the sale.
