Echoing what the others have stated here, I arrived at my appointment 30 min early. She receptionist, if you can even call her that, did not look up from her desk or acknowledge that I had walked in. Scanning the room I noticed a sign on the wall with some crude instructions: find your municipality papers next to the water cooler, fill them out, have a seat and someone will be with you shortly. About 20 minutes later Evan came out and said "ok Jason come with me." My name is not Jason. So I politely informed him my name and he checked his paperwork, walked Into the receptionist office and began a 20 minute conversation. I overheard that theyre having trouble passing candidates. Fast forward about 15 minutes after my appointment time, Evan comes back out and instructs me to go with him. The interview is short and fast paced. Less than 10-15 minutes. He condiscendingly questions me about my military service, specifically why I chose the MOS that I did. When it came down to questions about fights since high school, I have had 3 physical altercations that I was involved in, all self defense. I made it clear that I did not instigate anything ad I merely stepped in to break up a fight and was in turn attacked. Abruptly he says that he has all he needs and to bring my paperwork to the front. Once again the receptionist doesnt even flinch or look up. Ive been warned that Evan is anti military and that he will twist your words around. Explanations into the background of any incidents are not discussed. Everything is cut and dry. Seems that if a company is hired to do the background investigation then there should be a thorough question and answer portion.

I arrived in time to a room full of people, but there wasnt a receptionist nor instructions on what to do. I asked another test taker and she said someone will just come out eventually. Okay, fine. That happened and then it was test time (law enforcement). I took two tests (MMPI and another psych test). I finished the 560 questions pretty quickly. They were all simple: do you ever want to kill your self, do you prefer contact sports or individual sports, etc? My interviewer was so unprofessional, asking every question extremely fast, forgetting that while he may do that all day, the rest of us have only done it once. He told me he was concerned that hed never seen someone finish the test so fast, ever. That it bothered him. I didnt say it but my thought was: how many people come through here having graduated high school at 16, speak two languages, have written 3 books, have a degree in quantitative Econ with an applied mathematical focus; a grad degree in portfolio theory, builds mathematical models for a living, and was with military intelligence for five years. You see, he never bothered to inquire as to why I was so capable of being a fast test taker, instead lumping me in the same bucket as the average person who arrives for testing. Had he been more thorough and not so robotic, he would have learned all of the aforementioned. As a side note: I was there for testing for a volunteer, auxiliary police role, not a full time career. Very unprofessional in his approach.

This firm is absolutely horrible! The psychologist named Evan & the front desk lady were very defensive towards me and Im not sure if its because Im a minority or that I called them out on their lies. They will twist the information given to them and slander your name in there assessments. To add insult to injury, appointment times mean nothing to them! I arrived for a 0930 appointment time. When I walked in the Office manger never came out her office and I sat for about 20 minutes before someone gave instruction. After that it was another 40 minutes before I was called back for a brief 8 minute series of questioning before being told to take my forms to the front. Two weeks later I called about 10 times ( I was being sent to voicemail) after they opened to schedule a second appointment to have them correct their mistakes and they were unaccommodating in scheduling and told me that I would need to pay them $75 to talk about them about their mistake.
