Do not use as Domestic relations decision maker (DRDM) – WE employed Charlene Slover and Glen Crow as our DRDM for our daughter after our divorce. They were put in place to solve conflicts and therfore benefit our daughter. 1. They failed to explain the process for conflict resolution clearly and as a result my exwife and I made repeated mistakes initialy (If one child in the class is not learning it is the pupil if the whole class is failing it is the teacher) Rather than helping us Mr Crow put the blame at our door. 2. It took them 6 months to make their 1st decision, we could have gone through the courts faster. Their contract states that fast resolution of conflict benefits the child. 3. Mr Crows background as an attorney meant that he always tried to appoint blame rather than concentrating on a solution. 4. They repeatedly dropped the ball on issues and disputes and never once offered an apology 5. On one dispute they made a decision and then a couple of weeks later sent out another document with a different decision ( It appeared that they had not communicated with each other on the decision) 6. We repeatedly asked for invoices showing where we stood with our $3000.00 retainer and never received one. 7. On the occasions when it appeared Dr Slover took part in the process she seemed very professional and genuinly concerned in our daughters well being. Unfortunatly the majority of our experience was of Glen Crow and he was an embarresment to his profession and only succeeded in creating more conflict rather than providing quick resolutions. 8 They withdrew their services prior to our contract being completed and despite repeated requests we have never received an invoice or our outsanding balence. 9. To decribe how appalling their service was it was the first time my exwife and I had agreed on anything in 4 years. (So i guess they suceeded somewhere. Ha) The worst of all of it was that they were messing with a childs relationship with her parents and they never apologised for the mistakes once.

I just want to start this review by saying do not believe everything you read on the internet. I did the exact same thing you are doing right now, I read the reviews and feared for the worst. After working with Dr. Slover I can honestly say she is in this profession for a reason and that is to get down to the root of the problem and do what is best for the children. Dr. Slover is a very thorough investigator. I was afraid I would never get to see my daughter again. I can say I am so blessed and thankful that this week I get to make up for some of the time lost over the past 4 years. Dr. Slover is not an evil person and I hope that if you are concerned enough to be looking through reviews prior to meeting her you take into account how often disgruntled people complain. It is much more likely to find negative reviews than positive ones so please keep that in mind. I highly recommend Dr. Slover as she puts children first!

Very unimpressed with her. She failed to disclose information about meetings, she withheld pertinent information in the car and in meetings, and she disclosed information that she was specifically told not too!!! And during the whole CFI investigation she didnt once touch on the actual concerns of my husband. All in all she failed epically as an investigator, and was untruthful between clients during the investigation, and then charged more than the court ordered retainer for a piss poor job! I would highly recommended continuing your search for a more thorough and honest counselor/investigator.

After reading reviews waiting for my appointments with Dr. Slover I was very nervous. That quickly dissipated once I met her. Dr. Slover is extremely competent and thorough. I was in a high conflict case where my daughter was kept from me for no reason at all, just a bunch of false allegations preventing me from seeing her. Dr. Slover saw right through all the lies and gave me the report I needed to cement permanent time with my daughter. I can not say enough good things about Dr. Slover. I would use her a hundred times over if I could.

I am a hispanic male Charlene Slover was the chosen Psych for my divorce she was needed because of child custody she is pro women if your a hispanic male do not use her she gave my x everything she wanted she is gender and probably racially bias .choose a male for your Psych if your going through a divorce and if your of color pick some one of color racism is alive and well most white professionals in my opinion are condescending towards people of color.
