My husband & I went in on May 6th, 2017. Ive gone to Visionworks before, but not this location. However, Ive always been pleased. And this trip started off great. Gabby, who helped me with the initial process of selecting frames, was great. She was patient, didnt pressure me to get glare reduction (which for some bizarre reason gives me migraines) and she was really pleasant to work with. Unfortunately, this is where the positive ends. Our "guaranteed ready date" was May 16, 2010. I took advantage of their BOGO program, to get both sunglasses and regular glasses (with progressive lenses). My husband also got a pair of glasses with Transition lenses at the same time. Both pairs of sunglasses were ready on time. But my regular glasses were not. We kept being told they should be ready in another day or so... but we never got the call saying they were. In fact, we never got ANY calls. We had to keep calling them. At one point I was told that the lenses had come in but didnt pass their quality inspection. While its great they have a process like that, why on earth wouldnt they have called to notify me of this obvious and significant delay? Finally, on Memorial Day we had to go in, regardless. My husband was traveling and needed his new glasses. We live an hour away from the location, up in the mountains. Not surprisingly, my glasses were STILL not ready. My husband wasnt real thrilled with that news, but the person working that day told him that they were scheduled to be ready the following day (May 30th) and that they would be "overnighted" to our home. She also said shed talk to the manager, after he asked what the point was of a "guaranteed ready" date when they clearly werent ready and nothing was being done, in terms of compensation. Our mailbox isnt at our home, so while my husband was out of town, I was unable to check the mail to see if the glasses had been overnighted by USPS, but I didnt have high hopes. We checked the mail on June 5th, after he returned, and sure enough, no glasses. So I called. I was told they werent ready. Still. Three weeks since the "guaranteed ready" date. The person I spoke with told me she would email the lab, but I probably wont hear from her until tomorrow. I said, and someone WILL call me this time? She got my number (which they already have on file) and said yes. Well see if that actually happens. Regardless, the complete and utter failure to communicate with me during this incredibly long delay is unacceptable, unprofessional, not what Ive come to expect from Visionworks and unbelievably frustrating. I still dont get the point of a "guaranteed ready" date if nothing - including even a phone call! - is going to happen when theyre NOT ready by that date. I will be pursuing at least a PARTIAL refund of the glasses, as this is utterly absurd. But right now Id just like to actually get them, finally.

I first came into Visionworks to get glasses for myself. I have never got so many complements from friends on my glasses before! My best friend who came into help he choose a pair hated how big their selection was though since I insisted on trying on almost the entire store and she had to watch. But they really excelled when I came in to get new glasses for my grandmother, She had taken a fall and scratched her glasses. They helped me straighten them out and clean them. Then when Grandma was out of the hospital and we were able to go down to get fitted for new glasses the staff was just amazing. So patient with her. Unfortunately my Grandma passed before her glasses were ready. The staff at Visionworks remembered me and gave us a refund which was beyond kind of them. We ended up using that refunded money to get my grandma a nice urn. And to top off everything that they did for us. I was able to bring in all of my Grandmas old prescriptions and sunglasses and they were kind enough to donate them to charity for me. I thought their customer service was just phenomenal. When you walk in you usually have to wait a few minutes before they can help you. But they are worth the wait. :)

I have worked with this place for a year on a $400 pair of glasses that never fit right, the staff is down right rude and unprofessional. Prices given over the phone and in person are different, when questioned in person they shrug their shoulders and look around the store waiting for you to do something. Ordered contacts as well, both these and the glasses, never got a call when they were in, I had to call. The glasses were not fitted to my face when I got them. Steer clear... there is another discount eyewear place up the street, friendlier and more prompt service from them in the past, plus you do not wait weeks for your eyewear.

I almost didnt go because of the online reviews that this location has. I am glad that I did though. Every single person that I talked to was so friendly and helpful. Everyone took their time explaining everything in great detail, making sure that I was getting exactly what I needed. I made an appointment just a few hours prior and they were even able to see me sooner than my appointment when I showed up early. I was in and out within an hour with two beautiful pairs of glasses, and contacts. I would highly recommend this location. Wonderful experience.

Very unhelpful personnel, I pay over $200 a month to have vision insurance asked the lady to call the 800 number on the back of the card she did but after being on hold for a minute or so she hung up and told me "like I said you dont have insurance its like a rewards program so you can get a discount" I dont pay for a discount I pay to be covered... And the fact that they were so unwilling to help I would never pay out of pocket for glasses had they been more polite and made me feel like they actually wanted to help I would have

Rude customer service. Incompetent doctors. They did not get my prescription right and when I ordered the thin lenses, they gave me glasses with 1/2 inch thick lenses in them (I am blind, but thin lenses dont get that big for me." Instead of initially helping me, the clerk argues with me telling me that is exactly what I ordered and that the lenses are only thick because of the frames... FFS. sigh Eventually they made things right.

If you want to pay an outlandish fee shop here. My 11 year old daughter needed 1 pair of glasses. With the exam, the least expensive frames and the lenses expect to drop about three hundred in cold cash for only 1 pair. We went to Americas Best and for sixty nine bucks tax included she got 2 pair with exam out the door. That is a 9 pair to 1 pair ratio.

Showed up earlier than my scheduled appointment. They got me in within 15 minutes for my eye exam. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Dr. Sowash is also great. I would definitely recommend this location. They even were able to figure out my vision insurance.. which is something two Lens Crafters locations could not.

I ordered colored contacts from here (non prescription) and after triple checking the color choice I still received the wrong color. After coming home and opening to box to find out that it was the wrong color they told me that I cant return the boxes because I had opened one. Really awkward and vague employees.
