A Private User

Ive had a couple different incidents with this vet clinic. First, I rescued and homed a couple litters for a friend and a couple of them had eye issues...I wanted to get them better before I found homes for them. I found this free exam coupon online, which I thought was a life saver, since I had 8 kittens to treat. I took one in for the free exam. They suggested I get $180 worth of meds...antibiotics, eye drops, lysine, etc. I opted to just get one teeeeeny bottle of eye drops, for which they charged over $30. Ok...that wasnt too bad (at the time, I didnt know that other places charged MUCH less for that). So I was ok with them...I did get right in, no waiting, and the people that worked there seemed really nice. I decided to take a couple of the other ones, just to get them checked (since it was free). They were fine, but suggested I deworm them since most kittens have worms and they like to do it as a precaution. So I got 2 of them dewormed for $14 each! The next weekend a friend gave me the same dewormer that the vet used and I did the others at home for FREE. Now I DO know that other vets charge between $1 and $4 for the same thing. I decided this wasnt the place Id be going for anything other than taking them initially (for free)...then if they suggested anything Id go elsewhere to get it. Now comes the worst part... A friend of mine had several cats that got sick. She has no money so I gave her some coupons to use so she could take them in to see what was wrong with them and get some meds. She brought the first one in who was very sick. She was sneezing and had eye issues (they all did...turns out its very contagious). She got the free exam, but they wanted to charge her almost $100 for the meds. She ended up going back in and got just a bottle of antibiotics. Long story short...as much as they over charge, she only had $30 the third time and needed 4 more dollars for another bottle. They wouldnt budge at all. Theyd rather see a sick cat than try to help a poor person out. She got that one bottle initially for $34, which was very very tiny and it turns out wouldnt have helped at all. She ended up going to a great clinic she heard about who actually cares about your pets. They gave her a bottle 10 times the size of PS bottles that was a higher dose (that vet said the ones she got at PS wouldnt have done anything and theyd probably keep milking her and the cats would never have gotten better). She only had $20 on her, so they gave it to her for that so her cats would get better. They also threw in a bottle of Lysine pills. Such a big difference when you go somewhere that cares! I feel that PS really does not care about your pets at all...only about money. Ill still continue to use free coupons, but will NEVER fall for their inflated prices on drugs.

Hyped Fishing

I recently got a puppy named Koda who is registered with the Banfield pet hospital. His previous owner was unresponsive and unwilling to contact me which made things difficult to switch my name over on Kodas wellness plan account. I explained this to them and showed them all of Kodas paperwork which there is no way I could of got except through legal sale. They still refused to work with me saying I needed to pay money to start my own account. This just seemed like a way for them to make money and now Koda is left hanging. There are too many other veterinarians in the metro area to deal with this.

With fantastic friendly doctors and nurses it is not hard to let your pet go for the day knowing that your animals will be cared for. Not to pricey and they have wellness plans for your pet it help alot when its time to get there shots and many other savings like up to 20%off your bill . It is located inside PetSmart !

I love this place! I have been going to them for 3 years now and each time they are super friendly and love my dog to pieces! They are always able to fit me in as soon as possible if I dont have an appointment. I recommend them and their offered pet insurance to everyone. Pet insurance is totally worth it!

Waste of time, I called ahead, they asked me to walk in, so I gathered my dog up, headed over and was told I couldnt be seen for 4 hours, maybe. If you value your time go somewhere else.

The staff are awesome here. They are happy to answer any questions you have. Their grooming is a little more than Petco, but you can usually get your pet in the same day.

Luna doesnt love going to the Vet, but at Banfield they make her comfortable and she never complains. I love the staff and the Vets there. They are all so caring.
