So as a disclaimer: I never saw a veterinarian here and so I am not rating that part of the clinic. They seem to be capable doctors from reading the other reviews but I never made it past the incredibly rude, unhelpful receptionist. Like many other animal owners, I care a whole lot about my dogs. They are my babies. When I call with a concern I expect to not only get helpful answers but a little bit of empathy. This woman answered the phone and after I told her the problem my dog was having she said...nothing. Dead silence. I awkwardly prompted her for a response and she coldly said "well you can bring in a urine sample I guess". Again, slightly shocked, I asked how much office visits were and she replied "$40 and it goes up from there" with a tone that suggested she didnt care about my problem at all and talking to me was seriously inconveniencing her. I do not care how amazing the vets might be, her job is a customer service position and her lack of decent service makes me feel incredibly unwelcome and uncomfortable bringing my dogs here. If she is so unhappy that she cant at least be somewhat friendly and helpful then maybe she needs to find a new job. Maybe this review isnt that helpful to the pet owner looking for a good vet, but I hope the owner or management reads their reviews and at least has a talk with her because I imagine her rudeness is hurting their business.

I called to make an appointment for my dog whos been having some skin problems and the lady asks what Im calling for. I tell her my dogs been scratching, biting and licking himself a lot and has recently stared bleeding from it. She says oh you dont need to make an appointment for that you can just come in. Confused about what kind of veterinarian clinic doesnt require you to make an appointment I asked oh is this like a hospital like emergency services place? She said they do emergency stuff but were a regular vet clinic. So I said uh ok well Ill be there tomorrow morning. I work nights so the next day I wake up pretty early for me and take him in. When I get there the lady tells me the doctor is in surgery and wouldnt be able to see me till after 2. I tell her I called yesterday and the lady said I could just bring him in. She has the nerve to tell me shes sure that whoever I talked to wouldnt have told me to just bring him in. That they would have told me about the surgery and I wouldnt be able to see him till later in the day. Like as though Im lying or confused. I insist that I was told to just bring him in and she just she keeps saying I dont know what to tell you. Ill never go there again. It was a big waste of time.

If you want great customer service go to Starbucks. If you want to vet is not focused on digging deeper and deeper into your wallet but will still take impeccable care of you pet, this is the vet you want to go to. One of our dogs got a very rare form of fungal infection. So rare in fact that theres only been two reported cases in Colorado EVER. When eight other vets couldnt figure out the problem, even vets that had earned national recognition on the discovery channel, animal planet, and other shows, this vet kept digging into the problem instead of my checkbook in figured out what was going on. Pay no mind to the other reviews up from people who just didnt like the front desk girl. I take my animals here to get taking care of, not so that I can be greeted with a giant smile from a girl at the front desk to fakes it all day long. Their ignorance the reviewers portray so well in reviewing this vet solely based off the girl at the front desk instead of the care that is taken for the animals her, shows how stupid they really are. This that has earned a lifelong loyal family members from us by taking such good of care of our pets.

These guys are excellent! Honest, professional and very reasonable prices. I went to see this vet after my very old dog fell down the stairs and could hardly even walk; I was expecting the worst, doing a bunch of expensive tests only to be told that he would have to be put down or something. That is NOT what happened here! The doc started inspecting my dog and while checking his leg said "Oh! He dislocated his knee cap! Let me pop it back in." He popped it back in and my doggy was immediately better, he was so happy to be able to walk around again and was kissing the doc for fixing him. The doc even showed me how to do it if it happened again! The whole thing only cost me $48, an absolute steal (as anyone whos been to an animal hospital knows.) Honest professional vet that is very well priced. No nonsense upselling or unneeded procedures - if this place says something is needed you can trust that it really is! Not many other places can say that.

First time calling them, so I have no idea if they got a new woman at the front desk, or if she has learned something useful from the feedback you all have provided. I called because my dog seems to have a stiff hip or a pulled muscle and I thought maybe he should be seen. She was not only friendly, but gave me excellent advice about what I could try to take care of the dog here at home first. Rest, fish oil, and doggy gulcosamine (ha ha,,, who would have known they make glucosamine for dogs??). Thanks to all of your great reviews about the doctor and my great experience with the lady at the front desk, if ever this dear dog does need care in the future, I will definately take him to Western Animal Clinic. :)

My family and I have been coming here for a year now and always noticed the lady at the front desk with dark hair and glasses has always been rude. But the last time my sister and I took two of our animals in for a check up that was it for us. She was extremely rude and was very unprofessional when she weighed my scared dog on the scale. She wouldnt even let me finish a sentence and was very angry we came in. I was appalled and very angry how she didnt take my animals serious. Then the female vet that evaluated my animals was not much better, acting like we were wasting her time. Yes, the pricing is good but it is not worth it to me with the bad attitudes around that place.

Came into the clinic minutes before closing on a Sat. Because our dog had sliced his paw open....our vet quoted $600 to sedate and stitch up. So we headed to a low cost clinic that couldnt see us, they recommended Western Animal Clinic. When we arrived they treated our dog immediately and reassured us, hed be fine. They were so kind, helpful and treated us as if we had been clients for years.....it was our first time there, but surely not our last....worth the 45 minute commute. After treatment and meds to go, only charged us $135.00. Thank you, thank you for your help today, we appreciate you So much!!! Highly highly recommended!!!
