Dr. Aris Atakem is WONDERFUL!!!! His practice is located in Westminster Colorado. I traveled all the way from San Antonio Texas to have an "ACL repair surgery" performed on my papillion. The surgery was initially scheduled to be performed at a different location. But when we arrived, the initial vet explained the differences ... basically the one my dog was scheduled for was not going to be stable and permanent enough for my active dog. That vet recommended me to reach out to Dr. Atakem. Dr. Atakem saw us that same morning. He evaluated my dog; he took the time to explain to us the differences in procedures; he adjusted things in order to perform my dogs surgery the following day; and he submitted a quick order of the correct plate size, etc that was needed for my dogs surgery. In addition, Dr. Atakem found stones in my dogs bladder and offered to perform that surgery ... all while dismissing some charges in order to assist us. So not only are other vets recommending his services, Im honored to share my experience. My dog will more than likely need the same surgery on his other leg. When that day comes, Ill definitely be making the long trip again just to have Dr. Atakem perform the surgery. One additional note ... his facility, Liberty Animal Hospital, is beautifully set up. Its inviting and comfortable ... and his staff mirrors the same kind of sincere care Dr. Atakem himself exudes. Thank you Dr. Atakem ... we are truly blessed to have met you.

After reading the reviews and looking this place up, I was expecting to have a great experience. But great was opposite of what I got from the start. I called several days ago to make an appointment for Saturday, when I asked what was the latest time they had the woman said 10am and they only had that and 9am. So I took the 10am, after a long moment of silence the woman finally asked for my info. Then another pause, she then said she was having trouble figuring out the computer because shes only been there for 2 days. Then she assured me that she would have me down for 10 AM. So when I showed up at 9:50, I was told I wasnt down for that time and that the new girl mustve messed up. The receptionist said she could squeeze me in if I waited, when I asked how long that would take it was pretty much the original time the new girl put me down as. Now why do I have to wait because yall cant bother to train your staff right? I drove a ways to take my pet to this place and for them to really not even care on fixing the issue shows me I was probably lucky on not taking my dog here.

First thing - the vet tech came out side to assist us with Luna. Second- the moment we walked in we noticed the front waiting area was very clean and had a comforting feel to it. When we took Luna to the back room for observation the doctor too time to care and look,touch and listen to Luna. I will be coming here for all of my Lunas problems. O and they stayed opened for us and are still caring for my Luna when they didnt have too. Thank you so much LIBERTY ANIMAL HOSPITAL for caring and making this experience a little easier.

I had such an awesome experience here! I brought in my new puppy for his first round of vaccinations and his first check up. Dr. Atakem was fantastic and you can tell that he works in the industry because he is truly passionate about what he does! Their prices are wonderful, the facility is state of the art and most importantly the people here truly care about the well being of animals! I would recommend this place to anyone!

Dr. Aris and his staff provide excellent care and service for my puppy, Barry. Living in North Denver area, theres so many clinics around which makes it difficult to find a great place. Luckily, I have great friends that referred me to this place and I cant say one thing bad about it. The staff there really really loves pet and I recommended everyone to come check it out.

Dr Arian and his staff were wonderful! Both of my cats are shy and I was worried they would be scared during their first visit, but it was obvious they were comfortable and trusted everyone. Aris explained everything clearly and recommended products he truly believes in, without being pushy. My cats will be his patients for life!
