If you ever want to see proof of what you owe to this office..... good luck. They will send you letter after letter claiming you owe them hundreds of dollars but will not provide you any statements or proof. They will also question why you need to see that information because "its just money and you shouldnt need to see proof". NEW MOMS BEWARE. They make first time moms feel horrible here. The top doctor, Sikand, talks down to you rather than to you. Every visit left me belittled. I have a smaller baby, and it has been in his genetics to be small. I stopped going to the practice after 6 WEEKLY visits to "check his weight" because he didnt fit their charts. The doctor told me that "the history of small babies in the family didnt matter", and "we can fatten him up". Since when do genetics not matter? She simply didnt care about family history or what I had to say. She never ran any tests to see why he had slow weight gain. She just made me try 4 different formulas (while trying to breast feed) to supplement him. After the last time she voiced concern about his weight without running tests I asked her, besides his weight, what else is wrong with him.. Her response "well... nothing". After so many weeks of "weight check" visits without getting any answers, I told her I couldnt come in every week, to which she responded, "Why, do you have a job or something?". I responded no, but youre maxing out our insurance. She also told me that I wasnt producing enough milk, "but thats something your lactation specialist should be telling you", and that, "youre a young mom, its no surprise hes underweight". And if that wasnt humiliating enough, she did these visits in front of multiple med students without my consent.

Sadly, after leaving Broomfield Peds because their office is run so poorly, I was hoping Denver Peds would be better. The office staff is great, helpful and efficient. Then I met Dr. Sikand. She was rude, condescending and judgmental. She told me I shouldnt have had a home birth, she actually said "what if they baby was born brain dead? There would be no one to help you." My home birth midwife was trained in emergency medicine and had an oxygen tank with her, but seriously how ignorant and obnoxious to chastise me for having a home birth! She also told me I should be pulling back my 16 mo old boys uncircumcised foreskin and cleaning, something I was expressly told NOT to do by many other experts and professionals. When I told her I was still breastfeeding she said to wean him since theres no way to tell if hes getting enough milk. She told me to give my 1, 2 and 4 yr old Flinstones Complete chewable vitamins, which taste awful and are recommended for 5 yrs and up, which is totally unnecessary if theyre getting plenty of good, real food. My husband is a nutritionist, my kids eat spinach and salmon. I told her I was a holistic, granola mom and she practically rolled her eyes. Im very disappointed, back to the search.

I cant believe these awful comments I see. I have gone to see Dr. Sikand since 1999, taken over 70 foster children, and my own adopted and bio, children and now have sent over 8 grandbabies there. Never a problem. Dr. Sikand always checks on me, makes sure we are following car seat guidelines, nutrition guidelines, and calls me personally when the kids have been in the ER or need a refill and should be seen. She has helped me get formula for my babies right away before WIC helped out, and we will continue to see her until my last grandbaby is an adult (thats 17+ years) or they retire. I would recommend her to anyone, and I highly recommend her to parents who want complete care. Dont misunderstand her brisk ability, she speaks 5 languages and is HIGHLY regarded in her field. Google doesnt have a full coverage of care!! :)

I delivered at the attached hospital so this office was convint for me, but that was all, in 11months I saw the doctor twice, all others were assants. Mrs ann who we first saw for a few months was great but she is no longer there. They get you into a room quickly but you have to wait in the room for a hour with a cold sick baby(cuz they weigh them right away.)on to see a do or n.a, a month a go my daughter got a virus and after two hospital visits we went to sikand for a follow up, he assistant took all our info (that we repeated three times atleast) then we waited over a hour and a half for sikand to come in, we were the last ones in the office.... this office just gets worse and worse.

So many people who know who Dr. SIKAND are know that she has been around for many years. Im sorry to burst bad experience bubbles but you dont last in any business if you are not good at what you do. Im a father of 3 and am a native of Colorado for 34 yrs now. I also seen Dr. SIKAND as a young child and have taken my children to her and have yet to be mistreated by her establishment. Society hands us information that we may not like such as a not so pleasant experiences, and having to do things we arent happy with. Thats life. Deal with it. Dont forget that Dr. SIKAND is there to help people. Not to be a punchingbag for misguided people.

My kids have been with Denver Pediatrics for three years already and I have nothing but great experiences, especially with Dr. Spoerkey. The doctors take the time necessary to ensure the parent is heard. They personally call me in the evenings to follow up on my sons health status. If he went to the ER or Urgent Care, I get a call from the doctor asking about his health. I was considering changing medical insurance provider, but because my kids could no longer be seen with Denver Pediatrics if I changed insurance, I opted to keep my insurance just so that my kids could stay with Denver Pediatrics.

The Manger is very rude I was calling to my my child an appointment she told me that I cant cause my child isnt a patient there and then said she wouldnt be a patient there and hung up I called back to get her name and she was arguing with me telling it wasnt legal to give her first name so I can complain about her and just hung up on me very unprofessional staff

I love Dr.Sikand, she care for all 3 children starting 35 years ago also 4 grand kids. We my daughter and myself called today requesting a paper work. Dr. Sikand is on vacation. We understand. What we dont understand is the receptionist are all rude also I am Latina Im not prejudice but you cant even understand the receptionist.
