Discriminates against pregnant women. Went here early in my second trimester, because dental work IS needed in pregnancy. Neglecting it is what starts early labor. Nevertheless, after the cleaning he identified cavities but they told me to come back after I had my baby. I asked my OB-GYN and she said it was nonsense. She wrote me a letter and they let me make another appointment with them. When I got in the chair he informed me my cavities werent that bad, he didnt wanna open it up yet, and told me to go have my baby and come back again. I pointed out my OB-GYNs letter. Suddenly the reason was my insurance not covering the fillings. I called later and my insurance confirmed that this was not effective for another 4 days and he could have filled my cavities. The real reason is he didnt want the liability of working on a pregnant woman. If that is his reason the least he can do is save me a trip and be straight with me that the reason is NOT my insurance but my pregnancy. As I was on my way out I pressed the secretaries for the real reason and they went back and forth between the insurance excuse and the pregnancy. "You dont wanna bust your water." (Is that a medical term, Sha-nae-nae?) I said my OB-GYN said its fine, and she countered saying she was pregnant and was told you shouldnt get dental work. OK, but Im not listening to you, Im listening to my OB-GYN. Her response? "They dont specialize in teeth." Ummmmm, and you dont specialize in labor and delivery! Ignorant.

Terrible. Dr. Franklin was my first dentist. About when i was 10 years old or so & he tried to remove a tooth without numbing my mouth properly. It was hell i was kicking and screaming tears were streaming down my face. Franklin and the staff made it seemed like i was just fussing and being very difficult when in fact he TRIED TO PULL A TOOTH WITHOUT MY MOUTH BEING NUMB. I developed i phobia of going to the dentists after that. Im now 21 years old and i feel like i needed to write this review even after a decade has passed... TERRIBLE experience. FIND A MORE REPUTABLE DENTIST TO GO TO, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME.

As a result of an incomplete root canal and crown I had done at this office Ive now developed complications. My new dentist advised that Ill need an extraction and additional surgeries on my gums and jawbone before we cancel discuss cosmetic options. I recall the day I had my procedure Dr Franklin was leaving with a golf bag over his shoulders while the assistants were still getting me out of the chair. The following week I had a cleaning there and the hygienist told me "whoever did this crown did a horrible job...how long ago was it?" Guess she hadnt read my chart...I never went back to the office again!

I read two reviews but then heard from a friend that it was alright so i tried the dentist. My experience was very comfortable and they made me feel like my teeth were being worked on in my own living room. I would def recommend this dentist office.
