Absolute best dentist and dental office that I have ever been to (and I have been to ~6 in the past 10 years alone). The facilities and equipment are state-of-the-art, the initial exam is comprehensive and educational, the staff are all friendly, competent and professional, and Dr. Michalski is an amazing, top-notch dentist. Some details (on my personal experience): - Appointments have run just about on-schedule so far, usually either getting in right at my scheduled time or just ~5-10 minutes after that time. - The initial exam is very thorough and Dr. Michalski and his staff do a great job with showing you the results (x-rays etc.) and explaining things to you very patiently, professionally and with as much technical detail as you are willing to tolerate! - The cleaning that I received was the best cleaning I have ever had. They used a combination of the water-pik type method to remove plaque buildup with the traditional metal hook scraping and brushing/flossing for the cleaning. Along the way, I received very helpful tips from the hygienist regarding brushing and flossing techniques (I found out what I had been doing wrong w/ my flossing all this time! Could have saved on a lot of plaque buildup over the years...) - My recent fillings were quick and painless, and the least stressful that I have ever had. They have TVs for you to watch during your cleanings, fillings etc. and this helped to distract me from the buzz of the drill during the procedure. Application of the novacaine was barely felt and correctly administered, and the fillings were done flawlessly and with virtually no discomfort. - During cleanings, fillings etc. the staff and Dr. Michalski always periodically asked how I was doing and if I needed anything (rinse etc.) --- must more often than any other previous dentist I have been to, and this was appreciated. - During diagnosis of my TMJ issue, Dr. Michalskis philosophy on overall dental treatment came through, with his "less drillings and surgical work the better" approach --- with my minor condition, diagnosed after a very thorough and informative TMJ exam, he fitted a night guard for me. - His overall approach of only filling cavities that really need to be filled and refraining from any tooth-sanding, surgery etc. for TMJ are very sound and patient-oriented (as opposed to raking in the $$$-oriented). In summary, I 100% recommend Dr. Michalskis office for your dental and TMJ needs. I would rate their office and his skill as world-class, and highly encourage you to find out for yourself.

Quality CARE. The necessary relationship between any individiaul/family and the healthcare professional in question. That is why it is necessary for you to stop right here, because no where is this more apparent than at Dr. Michalskis office. You can tell this, before you even sit for an appointment, by observing the solar panels in back that provide much of their electricity. Then by further investigation you realize that geothermal technology is behind the heating and cooling of the building which along with other componants, is backed up by an energy award. Your visit is always comfortable, informational, effective, and did I mention comfortable? I keep coming back because I know the Staff will always continue to learn, not being satisfied with the usual education and certification that allows such a practice to operate, but going beyond and continuing to update their previous learnings with updated seminars, and study concentrations. Staying contemporary is so crucial these days ,where it seems there is an update to what we should be doing for our health on an almost daily basis. I feel comfortable knowing that Dr. Michalski and staff are upgrading their knowledge of dentistry on a routine basis, thereby assuring the best medical care is provided under every appropriate situation. A Consumate Professional - My wife and I had been dental patients of Dr. Harold Shurberg for many years. He was a friend who unfortunately passed away prematurely. Dr. Michalski took over the practice; and we decided to give him a try. It was a very good decision. Talk to him a bit. You will be impressed by his background. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps before he went to college. Such experience makes veterans serious about their education. He was a top academic scholar at the University of Connecticut. He continued to take advanced courses after he gained his DDS degree. And he volunteers with his experience at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. He designed his new faclity and specified the modern equipment in it, as well as the solar panels that provide electricity. Dr. Michalskis work is excellent and advice invaluable. I procrastinated in having two molars extracted. He was gently persistent in reminding me that it would eventually be necessary , which it was. My wife has required peridontal treatment over the years. Dr. Michalski worked with her long-time peridontal specialist to develop a coordinated treatment. Her peridontist was impressed. You will find Dr. Michalski and his staff to be both personable and highly professional.

I have been a patient of Dr. Michalskis for 6 years now. I was first introduced to him when I first moved to the neighborhood and was looking to find a new dentist. I had seen a news article on TV about Dr. Michalskis new state-of-the-art environmentally friendly office. After seeing the ad on TV, I made an appointment. The office is quite impressive, with wireless communication between the staff and modern television screens over all of the dental chairs, allowing you to watch your favorite TV show and/or listen to music during your visit! During my initial examination, Dr. Michalski took a video of all of my teeth and gums to provide a baseline for future visits. Dr. Michalski also noted an issue with an existing filling, and performed re-work to prevent any future issues. Dr. Michalski has always taken a vested interest in my teeth and overall gum health, utilizing the latest available technology and procedures. I trust Dr. Michalski and his highly trained staff for all my dental needs! I highly recommend him, and am very glad that I found him.. But dont take my word for it, see for yourself!

When I was a kid I use to go to the dentist, but then ended up hating it as the dentist didnt seem to care and were mean. As an adult I didnt see a dentist until I had some issues so I went to a few dentists who were also mean ripping on me for having bad teeth and not taking care of them like I should have and all of them had the "lets rip them out" mentality and then I was told about Dr. Michalski by a friend. It was a total night and day difference. Ted did not lecture / berate me about my past oral care like the other dentists did. Instead he said he could make it better, and explained everything he was going to do. Now I have the smile I have always wanted and its all thanks to Ted and his friendly staff. My mouth is now healthy and once again I am able to smile which is something I have not been able to do in years. I now recommend others to him and also have started having my family go and see Ted. In my mind there is no one better. Thanks Dr. Michalski!

Dr. Michalski and his staff are fantastic. This is the only dentist office where my blood pressure is actually low when Im there. Ive been regularly seeing different dentists over many years for preventive care and other issues. I first saw Dr. Michalski several years ago when I was looking for someone more centrally located to my work and home. The warm, friendly environment I experienced the first time there clinched it for me. Since being at his new location, I feel even more comfortable and relaxed. No sickening smell of dentist offices remembered from the past. Its so great to be met at each appointment with a friendly, genuine smile by everyone. I recently had a tooth implant completed and love it! I am grateful to Dr.Michalski and his staff for keeping current on dental care providing quality service and value to me as a patient! Truly the best dentists office I have ever been to!
