I have been recommending her to friends for years. After a terrible experience with other vets in the area, I was lucky to find her through a friends advice. My dog had several health problems and she was extremely patient and gentle. When he got sick while she was on vacation, I was able to get in touch with her and she knew his whole case by heart, even without his file in front of her! She took my call during her vacation as if it was her regular office hours and made me feel like my dog was her only patient in the world. Throughout her treatment of my dog, I always felt like whatever she recommended was in his interest, not her bottom lines. This is a vet who got into the business due to a sincere love on animals, not money.

Weve been going here for more that two years based on a recommendation from a neighbor. The font office staff and techs are very nice (and gentle) and the vet is knowledgeable and compassionate. She did a great job helping us decide what to do when our cat became very ill (which tests would be most useful, knowing when to move to just treating for comfort vs. trying to cure). Another review mentions dirty exam rooms, which is not something weve experienced -- they seem about the same as rooms weve encountered at other vet offices.

Dr. von Ehr and her staff love their jobs. It is evident. We are always greeted by Sharon, and the wonderful vet techs are always smiling and happy so see Scout for his visits. Dr. von Ehr is always knowledgeable, gives us follow up calls and helpful info on everything from how to clip his nails to successful minor surrogacy procedures in detail, never rushing us away. My dog is always loved and welcomed and so are we. Great practice and we love that they are the providers for our puppy.
