DO NOT EVER TAKE YOUR PET TO THIS FACILITY!!! These people are absolutely incompetent and a nightmare to deal with. I recently took my pet to BANFIELD in Plainville, CT. This location is inside of a Petsmart store. Banfield is also owned by MARS inc, who also is a terrible company to deal with and also does not care about their customers. Maybe they make enough money off of M&Ms that they can put the lives of people loved animals at risk and not care. I took a sick young animal to this poor excuse for an animal hospital, and suggested to the doctors what i thought was wrong with my animal due to the research I had done. I was basically laughed at, and was told it was something else. They then treated my animal and let us leave. After a few days and my animal not getting better, we called BANFIELD and asked them if we could bring the pet back in. They told us not to bother and prescribed more medication, another antibiotic. After a few days and it still not helping we gave them a call again. This time they assured us he would be fine and to let the medication run its course. Less than two weeks later when symptoms returned, i decided to take my pet to another vet and get another opinion. At this time i found out that my animal actually was diagnosed with WHAT I HAD SUGGESTED TO BANFIELD IN THE VERY FIRST VISIT!!!! Now, Banfield is refusing to give me money back for misdiagnosing my animal, administering prescription drugs that he did not need (insisting that the medication would have been prescribed regardless, even though the manufacturer of these products does not agree) and allowing a severe medical condition to worsen during the time in which he was on these drugs. I never even asked them to pay for my new visit, or the increased litter used and time invested in cleaning during the period of antibiotics being in his body. They refuse to give me back the money for which they did absolutely nothing but harm my animal further by misdiagnosing his issue and allowing it to continue. They also offered to give me back half my money if I sign a legal document not allowing me to share this story with ANYONE....EVER AGAIN!!!. TRYING TO HIDE SOMETHING???? DO YOURSELF AND YOUR PETS A FAVOR AND NEVER STEP FOOT IN THIS FACILITY!!!!!

Extremely rude, these people are crooks. All they do is ask you to for $$, test, after test, after test without giving you answers. After spending a good amount of $, I pick up my pet in the same condition that she was dropped off in. We have no diagnosis for our dog, you would think that by you bringing your pet to the hospital, and them being professionals they would lead you down the road to bringing you Dog back to good health. We dont only have 1 Pet on Wellness Plan, but we have 2 dogs and have been long time customers. Yet, it means nothing to them. All they are concerned with is how much $$ they can get out of you per visit. Please, be aware of "THIS IS OUR PROCESS" which is how your bill will go through the roof. Your better of bringing them to an actual veterinarian, than this poor excuse of a pet hospital. When nothing that they do, reflect a caring, honest, place that you bring a pet that is just like a family member. I am disgusted with this place and how they conduct business. That I will make sure that none of my friends, family, Co workers, social friends, and anyone that I know for that matter. Not to bring their pet here !!!

Took me in after an hour after my appointment was scheduled, then rushed me out not even finishing my cats samples. The vet said she had tapeworm just from looking at her and yet they still charged me for the samples, desposle, etc. A month after visiting and her tapeworm is still here, so I call to ask for more medicine, apparently she got the tapeworm from me and if I take her to be retreated, I have to pay $140 again. These people are ridiculous and are awful to work with. After $140 you would think my cat would be treated. Never go here. Worst experience ever. Petco has a vet, they are cheaper and ten times better

The doctors and technicians at Banfield have been professional and caring in both their treatment of our dog and in how they explain the problems that the little canine has been undergoing. I am very impressed with the quality of medical care and the sincerity that the Banfield staff provides.

Traffic jam and rain. Just 10 minutes late. Lady in front said he was already "half way done" through his appointment which isnt going to fly. But you can tell the service is pretty rough in general so Im looking for another banfiled nearby.
