Today, I was faced with a very challenging situation as one of my old pals, a cat named Blue was exhibiting signs of nearing end of quality of life. With my normal vet being away due to a death in the family, I was faced with finding a vet who would be able to see my Blue cat. I must say that immediately upon walking in after making a phone call from home and given a time to show up, I felt right at ease. Once inside the room, myself and Dr. Kari Kissel had a discussion on my cats history and current status. Kassandra Franko assisted, and between the two of these wonderful people the painful choice of having to say goodbye was in fact not painful at all but peaceful, as the whole end of life procedure was taken very slowly and with Blues wellbeing along with my own being most paramount. In over twenty years of rescuing cats, I have never seen an ending so peaceful, where I was able to really be with my little pal and my cat knowing that everything was going to be alright, purring right up to the very end, when he then drifted off to sleep. Once the gift of eternal peace was completed, Dr. Kissel spent a little bit of time simply making small talk with me, as again this was my very first visit. As I left, Kassandra walked me to my car, and we had a nice little talk as well which was for me a great source of comfort. Such compassion and understanding not only towards my sick cat but also towards me is something I shall never forget, along with the kindness which both these two women and the wonderful receptionist exhibited today. In summary, I cannot possibly speak highly enough of this practice and the staff encountered today and I will be forever grateful for their care and compassion and kindness.

I have been taking my dachshund here for 10 years and she has had a host of medical problems since she was a puppy. This place is by far the most efficient, cost effective, friendly, reliable, personable and talented staff/vet practice I have ever been to as far as animal care goes. Not only are they (the staff) all smart, but they are personable and explain everything with great detail and care. If you live anywhere within a 30 mile radius of this place, it is worth a trip if you are seeking the top medical care for your pet at a reasonable price. Anyone who disagrees or thinks otherwise must be confusing this establishment for another place that is subpar-----or perhaps an owner that had a violent pet that was neglected to the point of needing expensive treatments due to lack of care. Oronoque Animal Hospital gets an A+ and 2 thumbs up from me, my family and several of my friends and colleagues that have been coming here for years.

When my wife and I had to make the difficult decision of putting our lovely 11yr old bull terrier (Inca) to sleep we really didnt know what to expect or how the entire process would be like. Still new to Connecticut this facility is the 3rd vet weve visited in CT as well as several others in NY and I must say, this place was AMAZING! From beginning to end they were fantastic. They gave us all the privacy we needed and all the right words to help us with this very difficult decision. Moving forward I will bring my animals to this location and this location only. Thank you Kari Kissel and everyone else there that day. We really appreciate you all!

I dont even know where to begin with how wonderful Oronoque Animal Hospital is. I just became a new dog mom at the age of 28 and the staff has been SO amazing!! They are down to earth and know their stuff. I had so many questions and they were there to answer all of them. They treat our puppy like a member of the family and it made us feel secure when we got her spay. They were so caring and attentive that I knew she was in good hands with Dr. Yessenow and Dr. Kissel. Angela is always there when I call to also help me with my millions of questions, shes the best!

The BEST Vet in Town! Weve been taking our dog to Oronoque since he was a little baby. Not only are both doctors incredible, but the staff is kind and helpful. Kassandra is a wonderful groomer who our dog truly loves. The best thing about this place is they are honest and love animals. They really bond with their patients. Will never go anywhere else!
