So this is my 2nd year as a customer , sadly I have to say the office staff and the lax attitude seems to be ongoing . This place has great doctors and their work is very accurate. For two years in a row Ive had the exact same experience , 1st my lenses have come back with out what I requested ,A Transition lens. 2 after the corrected lenses come in I havent been notified by the office, no email no phone call . After two weeks passed I called them , they said yes the lenses are here . 3. Ive gotten nothing more than an apology . At some point excuses and apologies become unacceptable when it comes to business . I am very dissatisfied with the lackadaisical attitude. Dont know if I will return for my next annual . Maybe Ill go out of my way and try one of the other locations . Im giving 4 stars for the doctors which are great.

I saw Dr. Wong she was very insightful and courteous. The reception staff greeted me when i entered. Also, there was only a 5 min wait before i saw the Dr. I was in and out within 35 mins. The reception staff could be warmer, they greeted me but it didnt seem sincere. Also, the gentlemen that helps pick out the glasses was a little dismissive, when i told him i didnt want any glasses i just wanted a copy of my prescription. He said "if you go anywhere else the price will be about the same." I would have given 5 stars if the front office staff had been a bit friendlier. I will definitely go back, over all i had a good experience and its in walking distance to my house. Lastly an important factor is the price was unbelievably cheap with my insurance which makes it a PLUS!

As a new patient, they gave me a prescription that was significantly weaker than my current prescription; and then when the problem became apparent, instead of taking the initiative to fix it, they gave me the runaround - saying that they needed x, y or z before they would be willing to re-check my prescription (making it necessary for me to continue taking time off from work to come back to their office, with no results). I assume that they didnt want to have to cover the cost of having my glasses remade with the correct prescription.

I have used Eye Central for several years, but my recent experience makes me sure I will never go back. I asked for a copy of my records (which by law they have to give me) and they refused. They said that they thought I might use them to buy glasses elsewhere. They were correct (I had a chance to get some free prescription sunglasses), but I intended to continue to still use Eye Central for my regular eyewear needs. However, not of this should make a difference. They should behave like medical professionals and follow the law.

The most unreliable untrained and disorganised system and secretaries. The secretaries and lab manager also like to argue. For example, the secretaries have been telling me that I can expect a call from my doctor. Its been a month and no call. Now the lab manager is telling me that not only can the call not be guaranteed but also that he may and may not call me, or will call me at his own time, because "hes a "grown man" and cant be told what to do." B.S. Save your money. Save your time.

I have been seeing Dr. David Fissel since he joined the office. I travel from New York every time a have an issue with my eyes or need new contact lenses or glasses. He is knowlegable, most helpful, friendly and does everything in his power to give me the best possible vision at my age (71). His explanations are clear and to the point. I just wanted to say, "Thank You!" to my eye care team at Eye Central. I received an email to remind me of my annual eye exam. That was great, because I am a busy person. I will check my emails, but not always postcards that come in the mail. I want to thank Dr. Greg Foley. He is the coolest and best dress eye doctor, ever! He is a really caring person. The staff is slow, hostile, and provides horrible customer service. It took 20 minutes just to give me a receipt. I suspect they were slowing down so I would finally give up and leave. I intend to take my business somewhere else in the future. I suspect this place survives because it is one of the few places that give eye exams on the Hill. Next time I am going downtown. I also agree, one of the most expensive eye exams I have ever had.

Had a great experience! I saw Dr. Wong and she really listened to what I had to say and explained her diagnosis in a way I could understand. I have had a hard time finding an eye doctor who would actually talk to me and not just look at a few things and then send me on my way. It was also really easy to get an appointment and they emailed me to confirm the appointment which was great. Definitely will recommend this place to my friends.

Poor customer service, small selection of frames and brands are mostly no-name. Ordered glasses June 27th and was promised three different times that they would arrive. Its July 25th and still no glasses. They admitted they dont read their faxes from insurance companies. Called my insurance and they said they never received any glasses to process. Asked for my money back. (Female eye doctor was the only professional person here)

Im a long-time satisfied client. Ive seen nearly every doctor on staff at one time or another, and have never had a bad experience. Along with the high level of professionalism on the part of both the doctors and the staff, I truly appreciate their courtesy, friendliness, and sensitivity to the needs of the clients they serve. I have no hesitation in recommending this clinic to my friends - in fact, I already have!

The doctors are terrific, but the staff is not. They have routinely forgotten to call me as a reminder of appointments and to let me know that my orders are in, they have ordered the wrong lenses, and made other mistakes which have caused frustrating delays in getting new glasses and new contact lenses. They are good people - just not very efficient and prone to mistakes.

Ive always had pleasant experiences at Eye Central. The reception staff is friendly and Ive never had to wait more than 15 minutes to see the doctor. Dr. Foley is very capable and informative, taking time to explain an issue or answer your questions. His gracious manner put me very much at ease...he does not rush you out of the door! I highly recommend this practice.

It makes me sad to write this review because the more people who find out about this gem the harder it will be for me to get an apt but Dr Foley is the man and this practice deserves the positive praise. He knows his stuff, he is very personable, and the staff is always willing to help. If you are looking for a great eye Dr I would highly recommend Dr Foley.
