I am very disappointed with this facility. I took my new puppy in on June 30 because he was very sick from ticks. They ran tests, hydrated him, gave him a B12 and a medication for the ticks. The Dr. told me that by the next day I should see an improvement and by the third day I should see a new healthy puppy. Yes, this did happen, but by the 4th day he was sick again, same symptoms. I then took him back on the fourth day, this time I took him to the Holmes Beach Clinic, where they once again took blood test and hydrated him again. Nothing, he was still the same. I then told his symptoms to a vet tech friend of my and she said "get him on Doxy" right away (a antibiotic) Just so happen my granddaughter has some of this and we game him the recommended dosage for a couple of days until I could get a hold of the Vet again, OMG he made an amazing recovery. I called the Dr. and asked them why didnt they give this to him right away instead of making this puppy go through a lot of pain and me spending a lot of money. I told him that I wanted a refund on the second visit, he refused stating that the test didnt indicate that there was a problem, THE WAS CLEARLY A PROBLEM. These pills only cost me $4 but his bill for two visits was $270. I told him that it wouldnt have hurt to at least try the meds in the first place, better safe than sorry. Even if the meds didnt work, they would have never hurt him. I talked to my new Vet about this and she said that is usually protocol. So long story short Palma Sola Veterinary rips people off and dont care very much about their tiny patients. It would be smart to stay clear from this place.

Been coming here for over a year and service was good, but lately the service has dropped in the office especially. It seems like they are always confused on what is going on? I also noticed a lack of care, when I decided to get vaccines and medication from other sources because of the outrageous prices they charge. I went in for nail trim and to see if someone could take a look at my dogs eye at 840am, and by 930 I said forget it! I can see what they are doing, and if thats the way they want to treat good customers I will find another facility. I had called to get pricing on vaccines that where do, and after flip flopping on prices they said it would be $300. I went to Petsmart and paid $99 for the required vaccines. Antibiotics for hotspots cost $65, went online got them for $42 shipped. So if this is why my service as decreased to "Whatever" goodbye!

Our little papillon (6lbs) got into an anthill in June. He went into anaphylactic shock and began vomiting. I put him in the car and took him to Palma Sola. On the way there, he became unresponsive. The minute I came through the Clinics doors, the staff made him a priority. They immediately started an IV, administered medications and oxygen. Dr Ashley Gardners fast- thinking and the very coordinated actions of her team, without a doubt, saved our boys life. He came around after several tense minutes and they continued to monitor him for several more. They made sure I knew what to look for and how to care for him over the next several days. He has made a complete recovery.We will be forever grateful for the wonderful care we received!

My cat was 13 and had developed a rapidly growing sarcoma. Were new to the area, and I didnt like the first vet I took my firkids to, so this trip to the Vet was Dr. Gardners first time meeting Wendy. Dr. Gardner is extremely professional, caring, and competent. She made Wendys last few weeks comfortable, and was wonderful.

I have to defend PSAC in light of the rave posted here. I have been their patient/customer for over 30 years and have always been given excellent care and my animals have been treated as a priority. Youll search high and low to find better care.

Cant say enough about this wonderful vet clinic. We have 3 dogs & 13 cats, so I see these vets & staff on an almost weekly basis. Always great service, caring vets, and reasonable billing
